Yes, Oh Yas! January 2018 Review

Looks like most of the products are from Bella Terra. Let’s check it out:

This included info card explains their Customer Loyalty Program which gives you a free gift on every 5th renewal order.

Bella Terra Pink Satin Makeup Bag

Bella Terra Pink Satin Makeup Bag

Bella Terra Pink Satin Makeup Bag - Retail Value $12.99

This month, Yes, Oh Yas! included a pink satin makeup bag. It’s about 6 inches long ad a great size to throw in a purse or gym bag to carry essentials.

Bella Terra 24/7 Glitter Liner in Amethyst

Bella Terra 24/7 Glitter Liner in Amethyst - Retail Value $19.95 (found here for $15.96)

Besides black, purple is my next favorite color for eyeliner. This is a glitter liner that is a gray-purple shade with silver sparkles. The shimmer effect is really pretty when light hits it. When I apply it, I can sometimes feel a bit of graininess from the glitter so this isn’t the best liner for lining the waterline.

Bella Terra Double Ended Eyeshadow Brush - Retail Value $9.99

Here is a perfect little brush to keep in the included makeup bag. I like small brushes to travel with and this one feels well made and the bristles are soft. It is also about 6 inches long and has a shader brush on one end and a liner brush on the other.

Bella Terra Mineral Lip Gloss in Lavender Kiss

Bella Terra Mineral Lip Gloss in Lavender Kiss - Retail Value $19.99

When I first saw this I thought it would be true to the color of the tube. While that might have be fun, it is actually a lot more subtle and wearable. Like the tube, it is a lavender shade but has a sheer, glossy finish. It isn’t sticky but has a thick texture which gives it some staying power and keeps my lips moisturized. You can see me wearing it on its own below but I think it would be great for layering over other colors for variation.

Beauty Creations Blending Sponge in Purple - Retail Value $3.99

Much like other beauty sponges out there, this one expands and softens when dampened. I like the flat part on the tip because it is easier to get into small areas like under my eyes.

Manna Kadar Bronzer Highlighter

Manna Kadar Bronzer Highlighter - Retail Value $21

So, I’ve tried this product before and I still feel the same way about it now as I did then. It’s just not a well designed container. The pans are so small and close together that getting a face brush into just one product is difficult. I’m also not a shimmer bronzer type of girl. I’ll end up using the highlighter side with my eyeshadow brush to highlight my eyes.

Swatches of the products top to bottom: highlighter, bronzer, eyeliner, lip gloss.

Here’s a look using the products from this box. I used the eyeliner to create a thick wing on my lids and smudged just a little on my lower lash line. I applied a bit of the highlighter to my brow bone and inner corners of my eyes. Then, I finished the purple themed look with a swipe of the lip gloss.

Verdict: Yes, Oh Yas! has a value of $87.91. That is a good value for a cost of $12.99 plus $3.99 shipping. The mix of tools with makeup was nice this month. The products have varied over the past couple of months, and I hope they continue with that. I’ve been checking out their Instagram posts and am excited to receive the next couple of month.

I got February’s box as my first, and I’m definitely cancelling. This is the worst Crown palette I’ve ever seen. The lippie is ugly and I have too good a skincare regimen to use this cheap heat mask. I’m actually embarrassed on behalf of the company.

I just got my first box, February, yesterday, and am in love with it!! The pallet is impressive, the skin care is awesome, and loving the liquid lip as well. Couldn’t be happier!

Way too many cheap brands. Boxycharm is such a better deal for about $4 more.

Boxycharm includes items that are cleared out from other brands so I don’t see the difference.

Boxycharm sends newer products as well. Most importantly, they send high-end brands that are almost always available to buy from Sephora and Ulta. Four Bella Terra products and a Manna Kadar? Please.

The lipgloss looks great on you.

You are beautiful. It amazes me how you can so effortlessly pull off any shade of lipstick/gloss! How?
