If I read correctly there will be something from Godiva. Hope it is gooey and different flavors instead of just solid candy. I know that sounds picky but this box is a little expensive.
I like the plates but agree regarding the Melamine not being microwaveable. They have been around for yearsssss and I am surprised they never went out of business. They also didn’t used to be dishwasher safe.
Personally, I don’t like this color palette. And the colors appear to be more like fall left-overs than spring colors. My big problem with melamine is that you can’t microwave it. It’s heat resistant to put something you’ve already cooked on it up to a certain temp, but you can’t throw them in the microwave because they can warp, melt and worst of all the melamine chemicals can leach into your food. That’s a big no-no for me. I’ve bought some cute melamine plates at Target because of their cute prints, but I don’t find them very versatile for this reason. They are good for eating a piece of cake or to throw some toast or a sandwich on top, but other than that, I must microwave and reheat a lot of things because I tend to pass them up.
YES! Thank for sharing. This is the first sub box for which I’ve ever taken the plunge and signed up as a VIP. I feel like Sugarbash never disappoints, so it will be worth it.
Yeah, the colors are pretty unappealing and they are probably melamine like the other set of dessert plates by Odeme put into the Popsugar LE box. I don’t see why one would want to eat off of melamine, unless it’s an occasional picnic.
I use heavier plates for dinner but these small, lightweight plates are so great for lunch. I work from home and if I plate up some cold leftovers or make a quick sandwich, these small, happy plates are perfect. I have a big stack of them in the cupboard, just for lunches. I don’t love the colors/patterns on this spoiler and agree they look like makeup or polish swatches! But they might be much happier in person. I try hard to treat myself to a happy lunch as it’s my only break all day and it’s usually some boring diet lunch! Right now I’d kill for a sandwich. (Sigh) But this piece of fish will do. On a happy plate.
