We have a new spoiler for the February Play! By Sephora box! (Thanks, Tammy, for the heads up!)

The theme is Feel the Love. And here are the first two product spoilers:

Each box will have TWO lip products, but we’re only spilling one of them. Will it be Sephora Collection Rouge Matte in Rebel Chic or Sephora Collection Ultra Shine in Perfect Nude? We can’t wait to share the love.

What do you think of the spoilers? Which lippie do you want?

To find out which box you’re receiving at the beginning of each month, follow these instructions:

If you log in through a browser, not the app, and go to my account > account details > online orders and open the play! Order Details (it was dated 11/1 for me), you can see the “item number” next to the image.

I can’t seem to find any spoilers for box #406, any ideas where I might be able to find some?

I don’t know how I feel about get a Sephora brand product. But I do really like some of their makeup some I guess I’ll just have to see. But I would definitely prefer the red. Hopefully the brand of the other lipstick is nicer and I hope I don’t get both of them. I have been wearing glosses more than I used to but I’m not really someone who loves glosses. So hopefully the other lip product isn’t a gloss

SPOILER! Posted on reddit by u/cuckoococopebbles for box #177:

I’ve had a awful Monday so I caved and emailed Sephora to see if I could find out what my Play box will contain. Usually I love the suspense of waiting for spoilers but I needed something to get me through the day! Hopefully it brings a smile to anyone else having the worst case of the Monday’s.

Belief moisturizing eye bomb

Viktor & Rolf flowerbomb

Sephora cream lip stain (color unavailable)

Sephora Rouge Matte

Lancôme drama liquid pencil

First Aid Beauty ginger tumeric mask

Lol I have enough lip products to supply my whole county with. I only wear on special occasions. Please double up this month and send me 2 more. I don’t know about yalls Valentine but if I come anywhere within 2 feet of him with painted lips he freaks out. J/S

Mommy

They should send full size since there on sale for 7$… just saying and agree with sending the red lipstick to those who got that lip gloss recently.

I’m new to play by Sephora I’m not happy with the infant size things the send I believe I will return to Ipsy they have adult makeup

Reply ButtonReply

Christy

Ipsy always sends cheap brands. Hakari, Bella Pierre, etc. Sephora sends higher end and you get 60 points per month. The value is definitely there and the quality is so much better. I’d rather have 5 high end deluxe samples

Mommy

Ipsy always sent me more skin care and maybe 1 full size of something but Sephora sends the brands I’m interested in that’s why I stay. Sometimes it’s full size but usually the eyeliner

Ally

Red red red please red lol. I can never have enough red lipsticks!

So agree!

Nudes look godawful on me and I hate lip glosses and they all go straight in the trash, so Sephora and I are done if I get that nude gloss.

Megan

I would honestly not wear either. I MAYBE would wear the rogue lipstick once a year.
As in two lip products, I was hoping for a lip scrub, lip balm or lip plumper.

Definitely didn’t want any color.
Not so sure about my first Play! sub…

Yeahhhh I told myself that if I don’t get some good stuff this month that I’d have to cancel and it looks like pretty sure I’m canceling. I got the same nude gloss a few months ago and I don’t use it because it looks dumb on my dark skin. I have received MAYBE 3 things that I’ve half assedly used since I started the subscription 5-6 months ago. It’s a waste of money at this point. They never send anything for my hair type or skin color and, since I put that I have oily skin, I’m forever getting a charcoal scrub or mask. We do use other things!

I’m so annoyed with Sephora at this point. I might as well spend a bit more in another box and get something that would match my skin tone and hair type for sure.

WHAT? I just got sent this! And I’m really sick of getting reds and brights colors but never nudes! Most people prefer “everyday” colors not bold shades, so why is that like 90% of the lip products they send out… This gloss is the only nude color I have ever received from them and now I’m gunna get the same thing.. wow.

Reply ButtonReply

Pink5

All I get are pinks/nudes even though I’ve indicated I like red.

Reply ButtonReply

Angie

How do u indicate that?

Ally

I read the comments here a lot and people complain when sub boxes do brights “I want nudes!” And then they do nudes and people complain “ugh I want something more interesting, how about some brights!?”

It never ends.

Mikayla

I actually don’t really want either of these lol…. I’ll try them but I’m usually not a lipgloss person or a dark red person. At least it isn’t another bright red though. Hopefully since the first lippie will be Sephora brand the second one will be a higher end brand or nicer product!

For some reason I have a feeling that both of these products will be included in everyone’s boxes. I guess we will find out later this month.
I’m not a fan of Sephora brand so I don’t care for any of this items but I guess if I had to choose I’d go with red lipstick.

I received the exact same lip gloss in my November box!! Going to be so annoyed if I get it again. They could have at least chosen a different color. Where’s the variety???

Reply ButtonReply

Natalie

Definitely got the gloss a few boxes ago!! It’s really nice but I’m looking for variety when it comes to subscription boxes. The red lipstick is ok, but I doubt I’ll wear it often. Hope the other products redeem the spoilers!

Unlike most of the comments here, I would absolutely love a different red lipstick every month! It’s my everyday color. Bring on the red!

Me too. I love red for every day. It just makes me feel polished.

cookie

Me too. I love red lipsticks, it’s my fave color.

I already know I like the formula for both the lipstick and the gloss. I just really don’t care for the colors of either. I think I’ve only ever received one lippy from any box (Boxycharm, Sephora, Allure) that I like. I’m pretty sure it’s me and not them.

Reply ButtonReply

Dawn

Please let it be the nude gloss in #227. I can’t do red!

Reply ButtonReply

Snowhitetwin

Please no more red Sephora lipstick. Can’t give that stuff away any more.

Reply ButtonReply

Julie

I’m all about red lipstick, bring it on!

Reply ButtonReply

Natasha

I honestly love love that lip gloss and would not mind another!

Reply ButtonReply

Nikki Morris

Almost no one here wants that red lipstick. (Me included) I want the gloss as well. Being sephora brand, the other brand should be an awesome one lol

Reply ButtonReply

Santa McKenna

I love red lipsticks, and will gladly take them off everyone’s plate 🙂

Mandy

My box # is 201.

It seems to me that almost all sub boxes go the cheap way in both December and February with bright red lipstick.
Like we all look great in red lipstick just because it’s ” the holiday for it”.
Meh.

Reply ButtonReply

Kristin

No!!!!! Not unless it’s a Matte Neutral or Brown!! Please no more glosses or reds!

Reply ButtonReply

Madison

I agree! Red looks terrible on me!

Reply ButtonReply

Jay

Meh.

I’m probably canceling after this month bc this is the same lipstick I got before!! I seriously have always received lipsticks which isn’t my thing but was optimistic, but after 4 months of just lipsticks never any lip gloss I’m sick of it. Plus this Sephora collection is the same one I have already got in my box 2 months ago!

Reply ButtonReply

Dani

I haven’t been happy with any box from sephora and I’ve waiting 4 months just to be safe. There’s always 1 thing i sorta like. I’m going with ipsy since I can try and get what I like. 1 month of ipsy and I like 2 things I got already. I’ll just be sad I won’t receive basically free 50 points from sephora now.
