  1. I signed up! With tax it was $4.27 for two sunscreens and a Konjac sponge. That’s unbeatable.

    • Actually, it didn’t work. They used to let you create a new account with a new email address. Not anymore! Now it’s by shipping address. They wouldn’t let me get this deal. And I’m not on that sort of terms with my neighbors. Oh well…

      • Can’t you just change your address in your old account and start a new one with your actual address again?

        • I’ve had three or four different Julep accounts over the years, to take advantage of sign-up deals… One for each email address… 🙁

          • Huh. I mean, you can change everything(even your name), but I guess you must run out of payment options at some point. Four accounts! You must be an expert by now. 🙂 Just make your house have apartment numbers. *snicker* Window 1B, Door F1…

  2. I had to sign up. Couldn’t help it. Lol. Getting the oil cleanser, eye cream and konjac sponge for $3.99 will probably be the highlight of my week. And I love the skip option. That helped sell me on the subscription.

  3. I love this sub mainly because I get to pick what I want.

  4. I am so lucky that I am lucked into $16.66 monthly. I will NEVER quit!! Lol.

    • I recently discovered I am too. I was simultaneously thrilled and scared….there is no out now!! LOL.

      • How were you able to get this deal? Sounds amazing!

        • As Ann mentioned below, for me they had a deal the December before last where you paid for a 6 month sub but got the $16.67 price. I stretched it out for about a year skipping some months and assumed it would renew monthly or 3 months (only options on website) or 6 months at 3 month rate…but I still got the 6 month discount at renewal!

    • Did they stop offering that? I had to call them to set it up the last time I did it. I quit subscribing, but was thinking about going back if they will still do that deal. For those who are wondering- I don’t think they ever offered the deal on their site. It’s purely one where you call and pay six months in advance, if I remember correctly.

      • I haven’t seen it on the site. I got it via an online offer December 2016 (with the 12 polish set free!)…pretty sure that’s the last time they did an announced 6 month deal but I could be wrong.

    • I feel the exact same way. You can’t beat less than $17 a month for amazing products. Their skincare is EVERYTHING and gives my skin LIFE! Especially the facial oil. I’m so glad that I got in on that deal. And I called the company and they said as long as I keep renewing my subscription then I will be able to stay on that plan.

      • The whole reason I quit the $16 deal was because their products make my skin break out like crazy. I thought it would get better over time, but it just gave me terrible cystic acne which I had not had since I was a teenager(also was due to a face wash I was using- ugh, if only I could go back in time). I gave all of the skincare products two months and all I got was bad skin. I’ve gone back to just using micellar water and face masks and stuff and my skin is near perfect again.

        • Sorry, shouldn’t have called it cystic acne. Just tons of small zits mostly. TONS. My skin looked terrible and I felt like a 13 year old ready to cry and just refuse to go outside.

  5. This seems crazy good. How hard is to quit really?? What am I missing ?

    • They have some pretty nice beauty products, not to mention their pretty polishes and makeup items. It’s easy to skip months you aren’t interested in too, and each purchase you get jules which you can use towards a free box when you get enough. I’ve already gotten 2 free boxes, and I skip most months

    • I have quit a couple of times, and you just send cs an email, and they have responded both times within a few hours with confirmation. Pretty painless. They don’t seem to have a retention protocol, so no back and forth to deal with

    • There really isn’t any downside to a Julep subscription.

The product quality is top notch. You can totally customize every month’s box, or you can easily skip. They have absolutely beautiful nail polish colors that really do improve the health of your nails. I really like their skincare line as well. On top of that, their customer service is as good as it gets.

Apart from me wishing that they would bring out some more nuanced lip colors, I have no complaints about this subscription box, and I believe that this is the best sub out there for the price.
