Not entirely sure how I feel about them yet, but feel very blessed.

Thank you Meagan for your diligence in sharing upcoming information with the rest of us. Here is a tweet I heard from a bird just today. Maybe you can find out more? This was after I made a request for a specific item when Ipsy did not deliver an Ipsy “Offer” to me but instead refunded me. Anyhow. I asked and this was part of the response I received. Take note of the last paragraph.

“I wish I could add the two products you requested, but we ended our product selection program. So we’re no longer accommodating requests for specific products.

We’re working on another fun product personalization opportunity for the future, and although we can’t give an exact date for when this feature will be available, please stay tuned. ”

After reading these comments this evening I went on to my account and membership and sure enough the link to improve my glam bag was there. It had 29 products to review with the pics for the next three months. Although these are not all guaranteed, I hope I get at least some of the ones I liked, especially the brush and banana powder. I prefer bgas with a mkaeup heavy theme rather than a skin care heavy bag. Fir those of you curious aout the device, it was easer for me to find the link on my ipad then my laptop.

Anyone else think its weird that on their site on your bag page where it says what they are up to it says “reviews”-02/21 and then it says “stay tuned”-04/01. Where’d March go!? lol

I wonder how Ipsy decided who was special enough for picking products for their GlamBags and who is special enough to get this survey I’ve been hearing about. I’ve been a happy, loyal subscriber and customer for almost 3 years. I wonder if it’s a certain age group….

Thanks for your tips! I was able to do the survey w 30 products and this is my first month subscribed to Ipsy. Maybe this will available to new customers first and then they’ll open this option to everyone?

I think it is usually reserved for people who don’t seem happy, like people rating their bags low or skipping months.

I don’t think so, My first bag ever was February so I’ve been subscribed less than 2 months and had the survey, I was wondering if it has to do with the payment methods whether people are considered a subscriber or a member…not sure but i got lucky and got the survey, it makes me feel bad for the people who have been members for years and don’t have the option. I’ve literally gotten 1 bag and had the option.

I am 44 and have been a subscriber since October of last year but I skipped last month even though the bag was super cute. I went into my account yesterday because and went to update my profile and there was the survey. I got to rate 29 different products.

Regarding a potential bag detail…

After 3 months of skipping, I decided not to this month. I received a ‘Welcome Back Ipster’ email saying:

“Your March Glam Bag is packed with products to spark your imagination, inspire your creativity, and create endless spring beauty looks. The best part? You can color it in yourself (so fun, right?). ”

So I’d assume a black and white graphic pattern maybe?

I am getting ready for summer. I would like my skin to be perfectly prepared for the hot weather. So this bag would be nice to get a lot of skin care products to try. I would love to try the VENEffect, H2O, MAD, FirstAide brands for sure. I love what is created in the bags for me, I can’t wait to see what they come up with. A splash of color is cool too. <3

Hi Marion,
Do you happen to know how frequently they update the products to say whether you’d like them or not? Last month was the first time I had access to it, and I checked today (only with the first few products), and it seems like they’re already ones I’ve rated. Just curious, because I don’t want to miss out on rating other products. 🙂

Typically once at the very beginning of the month, around the same time as bag reveals. They take 10 out (the items that will appear in bags that month), then add 10 new items in. So 20 items will be ones you have already rated.

I get the “survey” and I don’t rate my bag poorly. I have a second bag I just signed up for and I had the option there too even though I haven’t gotten a bag yet. It doesn’t seem like a survey so much as a feature of the webpage because I see it in a browser or the app.

It’s hard to find though. In the app, go to Account, edit account settings, membership, manage membership, and improve glam bag products.

So weird! I wonder how they’re rolling it out. Seems odd to give it to a brand new subscriber (since one of the first questions it asks to get you into the future items is what you aren’t liking about your bag currently).

I’ve been dying to try some Huda Beauty so I’m seriously hoping for that. I suspect only a few people will get it, though. But who knows? Here’s hoping!! I’ll have to see if it’s in my Improve Your Glam Bag list! Maybe if I check No to so the other ones, I’ll get that! Heh.

I have access to the survey in my account – I’ve been doing it a couple of months. I usually like my ipsy bags 😃 I think it’s the best value at only 10 bucks.
