I actually love this box. The lip gloss color is spot on and I LOVE the lip scrub. Luxie brushes are always nice to receive. I even like this particular sheet mask even though I’m not usually a fan.

Jan and Feb were great and I had high hopes for this month but I received this box today and it was missing two items – the lip gloss and the brush. I have 0 hopes of getting either of those replaced after the CS fiasco I went through with them last month trying to get my December box. So I’ve got a tiny little bottle of ho hum body wash and lotion, a face mask that isn’t for my skin type and lip scrub that I don’t need or would use. What a let down.

The pretty box is the only plus and the values are greatly overstated.. really need to pull the plug and never go back. That lip scrub tastes awful and for $14 you can get a set of 6 not 1 tube.. Value is just not there for me. Only did the 3 months because I had credits and after 2 months of arguing about another billing fiasco and defective product I received yet another credit. So as many have said horrendous CS.. the only improvement that I have seen in 2018 is shipping

I’m excited to get this. I love Luxie brushes, am anxious to try the lip treatment and can always use a good gloss. I’m especially happy about the shower gel / lotion combo. I’ve been looking for new brands to try out.

This is objectively an okay box, but still a bit of a let down after Glossy’s beautiful box and contents in their February Valentine’s themed box from last year.
Glossy should release a coupon right about now. This seems more like a $15 box than a $21 box.

Oh dear. I know that it is a sub box and it’s not something tailored to our needs/wants but deeesh this isn’t even some what appealing even with 6 items. I feel like this box is what’s left in the clearance bin :\ Not too pleased but I guess for the money it’s “ok” however if you think about it. I could of probably of purchased all of those with my $21.00 because there is NO way all of that equals anything close to $100. Oh well… Guess if I am going to talk the talk I should walk the walk. Time to cancel.

My favorite thing about Glossy was always the box itself. 😂 The February theme is so pretty with the love letter box and kisses tissue paper. 😍😘

I totally agree! The packaging is so pretty I can’t bring myself to throw the actual box away!

Woman…..don’t throw away your Glossyboxes! They are great for organizing and storing your stash of products. I label them with a label maker (so I can peel off later and re-label if needed).

I got the 6 month sub on black friday, 3 more months to go. I will not renew this. I have not liked any of the boxes. I just got my ispy revel and for 10.00 it was 10 time better then this. I have been selling mine on mercari to break even. The only thing i like is the box.

I received a box with 2 variations. There was a very nice tweezer and a lip liner. These replaced the brush and lip gloss. I was really happy about the tweezers! They are really good quality and we receive so many brushes it’s nice to get a different tool. Not that I mind a lot of brushes.

Not sure what happened to my comment, but…
This box is kind of a miss for me. I really only use lip balm and this has two lip products. I never use crayons or lip liners, so would be really bummed if I get either of those. I am also super picky about my tweezers and hope I don’t get those. I went in and adjusted my profile to prefer lip gloss, so hopefully it’s not too late.
What exactly are the John Masters samples? Is it a body wash/shampoo and a conditioner? I can’t tell.
I only have two months left with my Gilt City bundle I was hoping for awesomeness. 🙁

I originally thought I read that they were a shampoo & conditioner, but I guess they could be a body wash & body lotion. I always thought John Masters was only a hair line, but then I discovered, in a touristy shop in Hawaii of all places, that they actually have quite a bit of skincare too(!), so I wouldn’t be surprised if they have body care products too. I’m actually happy to receive these.. I love their hair products, and was pretty bummed when I realized my local Ulta no longer sells their products in the stores.

Luna,
Thanks! Of all the items in the pictured box these are what I am most excited for. Something new and different.

This is a joke. I am not seeing value if more than $30. A package of 6 of those lip thinggies is cheap on amazon. Never heard of the mid mask company but it sells for $5.00.
I had never heard of Doucce unti I got a beauty box and I am extremely skeptical that anyone buys at those inflated retail prices. I can get Chanel in the exact color I want for not much more or great brands in the color I want for the same or less money. Is there anyone who has actually bought a Doucce lipstick?
And I haven’t been thrilled with the quality of the Luxie brushes I’ve gotten but then I spoiled myself this Christmas with some Wayne Goss brushes.

Received my box and Glossy states values totalling $72. Most ridiculous is the lip scrub which tastes awful and you can get a 6 piece set off Amazon for $14 Not 1 tube for $14. The box feels cheap, poorly done for Valentine’s and i am disappointed

Glossybox is not what it used to be…
$21 a month should get you more and there Customer Service is awful. I FINALLY received my December Box a few days ago. No surprise, it was damaged. The hair item, the most expensive item in the box and the one I was most anticipating came CRACKED and was all over the box. I am so disappointed with this company. It took me over two months to get this box. Even dealing with the Head of Customer Service was an awful experience. Buyer Beware!

Margie,
Same experiences with Customer Service. They have fixed most of my issues, but it was way more work that it should have been. I ended up with two December boxes and two January boxes and after it was all said and done I only paid for two of them. But jeez. I can’t stand their 15th of the previous month policy. We should be given more time to make a decision especially when that months box doesn’t arrive till after that. So many more issues…

I still don’t have my December box. One person says it had been sent a few times already (no tracking, of course), the other one says there had been none and offers a refund.
Jeanne
How do you skip a box? This one doesn’t excite me and would like to skip this one. Any help would be appreciated. Thankyou

Thankyou i wasnt even aware there was a cut off date to skip a box. Thankyou for the info.

Well, technically you can’t skip, you just cancel and resubscribe. But if you want to not receive a box (and more importantly, not pay for it!) you have to cancel by the 15th of the month prior. So if you are wishy washy on March, make sure you cancel by Feb 15th. And then once the March spoilers come out if you want to that box you have to resubscribe ASAP so that you end up with the March box and don’t miss out.
Andrea
It’s too late to skip this month’s box, you would’ve had to cancel by January 15th.

Imma skip this month bc of way too many variations. Decent box tho

This could be a miss for me. Anything but the lip gloss would be a miss. I don’t use liners or crayons. Tweezers would be a miss as I am super picky tweezer person, prefer to get the brush. I am confused by the John Masters item, there are two pictured, but only one listed. I’d like to assume it’s a conditioner. I like the scent though. Scrub is good.
Nervous and excited to see what I get.

Doucce feels like the new(er) Manna Kadar, though I like MK better (prob bc I got into subs after the MK saturation, but been amassing plenty of unwanted Doucce).
Somehow even with them being in so many subs this month, still happy to see another lip exfoliator lol

Ugh. The only appealing thing here (IMO) is the sheet mask.
