Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson. You can shop Fabletics in two ways—you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:
- Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
- Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $19.00 for new members. (I'm not sure if "new members" refers to just your first order, though.)
- Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you'd get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you'll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.
The key takeaway here is that this subscription won't automatically send you monthly packages like other services do. You have to hop into your account and either decide to add items to your card or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call into Fabletics customer service to do it.
This month's order arrived split between two packages! Usually, everything arrives in just one envelope.

Fabletics VIP Membership February 2018 Review
There's not always an info booklet inside of my orders, but this month, there was a bright, photo-filled booklet explaining how Fabletics works.
I also got a bunch of coupons for Naked Wines and Hello Fresh!
Quinci Outfit, Size Medium Top and Bra, Size Large Bottoms - Retail Value $134.85, VIP Price $69.95
Usually, I just take the outfits I order at face-value. This month, I did a little customizing! I loved the idea of getting a pair of joggers—I'd been thinking of buying some for myself, so why not get a really nice pair via Fabletics? The thing is, the pair featured in the Quinci outfit are sort of a peachy coral-pink color. Cute, but not the most versatile in my wardrobe. Luckily, I noticed that there was a gray version available, and thanks to the flexibility of the Fabletics membership, I was able to swap my color! I actually swapped the color of the bra, too, from a pale petal color to a more lilac tone that I liked just a little more.
Here are the pants! Again, not the most flattering, but definitely comfortable and easy to throw on after a sweaty class. They're French terry pants made from a soft, easy-going poly-cotton blend. They're cozy, not to heavy, and just a little bit fuzzy. I like the subtle heathered texture, too. The best part about these pants is that they're dripping in pockets. There are two front pockets trimmed in white piping, a zippered pocket sort of tucked inside the right front pocket, and another zippered pocket on the back. At least on me, the silhouette gets pretty wonky looking when I stuff anything in the pocket aside from a few folded up bills, so I might not be stowing big keychains, etc. in the back one, in particular (the fabric is lightweight enough that it doesn't hide much). But they're still handy to have in a pinch!
I did a great job of not standing up very straight in these next two pictures, haha! Hey, I was just so relaxed in these comfortable, loungey looks!
This bra is made with seamless, all-way-stretch fabric that's both wicking and incredibly easy to wear. It's the kind of thing you could plop on the couch and nap in and not feel poked or restricted in any way. I like that the bra has a wideness to it, which makes me feel more held-in. It's more the thing I could see wearing to a yoga or dance class—it moves with my body in a nice way.
My only gripe is that the cups feel a little stuffy. I think since the rest of the look is so flexible and comfortable, the cups seem a bit out of place. Depending on where I wear it to, I might just pop 'em out.
Finally, there's a white, open-back top to throw over the look. Sometimes open-back tops can get a little slouchy in the front, but this one seems to hold its crew-neck vibe. Overall, I feel like the top would look better on someone with a longer torso so that it would lay a bit better around the hips, but I'm still really excited to use this after workouts or even worn out to warm-weather brunch!
Verdict: So it's not the sleekest most flattering outfit on me, but these ultra-comfortable, easy-to-wear clothes are going to get a workout every lazy weekend morning! This three-piece look was $20.00 over the baseline $49.95 deposit you put down each month for membership, and I do wish that more looks (there are some, but they're more basic) were priced closer to that initial deposit amount so that I wouldn't be spending more on top of what I've already committed to. But the quality holds up to the price, in my opinion. The leggings and bras I've gotten in the past have worn and washed beautifully, and especially the simpler, solid-color pieces I've gotten have become regulars (in both workout looks and everyday athleisure outfits) for me. I'm excited to get lots of wear out of these comfy basics, and I can't wait to style the backless top into day-to-day outfits as the weather gets warmer!
