January 2018 1UP Box Review
The 'Showdown' theme features items from The Walking Dead and DC Comics.
Every box comes with an information card to detail the items in the box.
Each delivery comes with a themed button as well.
Showdown Shirt - Value $15?
This month's shirt pits a few favorites - and a few characters that we'll see later in this box - against each other.
Tyreese Mopeez Plush - Value $5-8 on Amazon
Each subscriber gets a Funko Mopeez pluch from The Walking Dead.
There were six possibilities - Michonne, Rick, Tyreese, Daryl, Glenn, and Hershel. The lower body of these plushes are filled with beads, so they'll sit up for display!
Superman DC Kawaii Cube - Value $6 on Amazon
Everyone will also get 1 of 8 DC Kawaii cubes.
These are stackable plush cubes. You could have received The Joker, Supergirl, Superman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Nightwing, Batgirl, or Poison Ivy.
Samurai Jack Air Freshener - Value $2-5?
You'll get a cherry air freshener featuring Samurai Jack.
Smash Circle Sticker - Value $1-2?
Finally, the last item is a sticker featuring callouts to your favorite video game franchises.
Verdict: This wasn't my favorite delivery from 1UP Box - but only because it didn't hit a ton of franchises that I love. Overall, there's pretty much always value in this subscription and I think it's a better geeky box for a younger audience.
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. You'll find out the current theme on their homepage.
