Now, on to the items!

Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics Original Sheen Intense Eye Shadow Palette in Last Friyay - Retail Value $35

Usually, So Susan's full-size palettes are on the small side compared to other makeup brands, but not this time!

The shades live up to the Intense name - the pigment and shimmer on these are fantastic.

Since this is a 100% shimmer palette, you'll probably need to mix it with mattes from another palette. (Or be far more daring than I am when it comes to eye looks!)

(Swatched in lower photo.)

So Susan Cosmetics Muse Highlighting Drops in Platinum - Retail Value $35

This is a highly pigmented and shimmery liquid highlighter that blends out beautifully. (You could also mix a drop of this in with your liquid foundation if you want more of a glowy finish.)

But, I don't know why So Susan has sent a liquid highlighter for 3 months in a row now - we can only glow so much every day! 🙂

My only issue with this is the applicator. The formula is too thick for a dropper. This really should have been in a squeezable tube.

Here it is swatched beneath the eye shadow palette:

That is one shimmery arm!

Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics Jelly Puff - Retail Value $8.99

This is pretty much identical to the MakeupDrop silicone applicator - and for less than half the price!

Typically, I use a beauty blender or a stippling brush to apply liquid foundation. This silicone applicator gets the same flawless application look of the beauty blender, but it has additional benefits:

  1. No foundation absorbing into it! With a Beauty Blender or brush, I’m always losing some foundation to the tool itself, but this silicone isn’t porous, so all makeup goes on your skin!
  2. Super easy cleanup! Just soap, water, and towel it off and it’s good to go! No waiting for beauty blenders/brushes to dry!

Trifle Cosmetics Sugar Bunny Heavenly Lip Scrub in Watermelon - Retail Value $17.95

So Susan sends out lip scrubs pretty often, but they smell so good I can’t complain! This sugar scrub smells exactly like watermellon gummies! The oils are very moisturizing, too.

And each So Susan Lip Love comes with a new makeup bag:

Limited Edition Makeup Bag - Value $12

As usual, I prefer the non-text side of the bag!

The bag is made of a spill-proof vinyl material with a fabric lining.

Verdict: This month's So Susan Lip Love bag has a value of about $108.95! I think that value is fantastic for a $21 ingredient-conscious makeup subscription box.

If you are looking for a vegan, ingredient-conscious makeup subscription, I can't recommend this one enough. The value is great, the formulas are great, and the bonus bag is always super cute!

Thank you Liz for taking puctures of the back no the box! I like to see where the product was made.

Awesome review as usual. And Happy belated 5th anniversary.

Omg, great review Liz. I love those eye shadow colors. I just used my Tarte mermaid Palette today and I was so disappointed by the fall out during the day. I had raccoon eyes today. So I’m excited to try these colors. I have the last year color two pan eye shadow jelly Pong Pong and there is never any fall out. And it’s a lot cheaper than what I paid for my Mermaid Palette. I also love the Highlighter Drops. I have the other two colors and this one looks so stunning.

How many swipes are those swatches? I got this bag today (for some reason the padded envelope was shipped inside a cardboard box? Which was funny) and switched the eye shadows on my own arm. I was impressed with how they looked with one swipe, but they were much less intense than the photo.

Also, I’m pretty sure the highlighter is in a dropper because it’s meant to be a dupe of the CoverFX custom enhancement drops, which are in the same style bottle. You need so little that you can just use the dropper as an applicator, though. I can’t wait to wear it and feel like a glamorous robot.

Oh those highlighters are no dupes. Their the real deal. you’ll love it. Liplove is in its own category with their own vegan make-up formulas. And their excellent.

@Liz how are the shadows and their staying power? Is there a lot of fallout?

This box has tempted me many times but I think this is the most tempted I’ve been!!

I really enjoy the majority of the products I get from this bag. I actually subbed because I fell in love with a So Susan product from a different bag to the point where I wore it non-stop until I finished it and then repurchased (Hangover cheek and lip tint, although I didn’t like it for my lips). And I have sooooo much makeup that I almost never finish anything unless it’s stellar. I’ve been really happy each month, usually really liking 3 out of 4 items.

For me, this month has 2 items I don’t want (the silicone sponge and ANOTHER lip scrub), a rarity, but that palette makes up for it!

Wow those shimmers in the eyeshadows are actually really beautiful. Jelly Pong Pong, you surprise me.

Love the review. I often find the SoSusan items unwearable. I would love to see a tutorial or finished full face using these products.
