Play! By Sephora January 2018 Box #069 FULL SPOILERS!

I’m getting box #069, and I’m actually feeling ok with this box, not overly ecstatic about it, but I can see myself getting use out of these products. I’m thankful at least that it’s not that smashbox silicon primer again…at least it’s a different primer by smashbox. I always just give that primer away because it has silicon in it. The boxes didn’t really have that much variation, which I appreciate. The item I wanted the most was the lip gloss, so I’m pretty happy about that, as that is also the only real makeup item in the box aside from the primer. It looks like a wearable color and ABH glosses are pretty nice and not so sticky. The eye cream seems nice as well, but I have seen the size of this sample and it’s pretty small. Always happy with getting a glamglow product, and can always use a new cleanser so this was a win to me. I’ll give this smashbox primer a try, but I’m not that hopeful as I haven’t liked smashbox primers in the past. I’m kind of skeptical of the boscia product, but it has good reviews and seems like it can help with winter dry skin. The OUAI sample has great reviews on sephora and OUAI products are quite good, so I’m actually happy I got this instead of another perfume sample this month. So overall, the glamglow, ABH, clinique, OUAI are winners to me and the Smashbox and boscia I’ll have to test out and see. As always I’ve noticed some repeats but it doesn’t really bother me because i wanted the lipgloss last time and didn’t get it. Although I do hope in future boxes they can actually put in things that are from relatively new collections or different brands just so we can try some new stuff instead of stuff that has been around for a long time even if the products may be good. On another note, it seems like this box is taking a long time to ship, I know other people who already got their box in the beginning of this week while #069 is coming a full week later.

What the hell has happened to Play???

I have 69 but these are not the items that are showing in my app. I haven’t received it yet but will confirm once I receive. It’s showing Rose toner instead of Boscia and the mascara base instead of lipstick and Caviar sample instead of Ouai.

I am getting 69 and would love to trade for 93, anyone?

I received my box #028 in the mail yesterday and was well, underwhelmed. Everything was so little, tiny. I don’t remember feeling this way about my last boxes. I’ll be paying attention to my next couple of boxes.

I was hoping for Nars lippie and the MUFE blush, but this isn’t too bad. I wanted to try the blush and the cloud cream. But I have sensitive skin, so we’ll see how that goes.

This isn’t a bad box it’s just not was I was hoping for. I really wanted the NARS or Fresh lip products. I was hoping I wouldn’t get the primer.

So after a year with them, this is my last box. Tired of getting stuff I don’t want for money that I could use to buy things I want. Gonna just use the $10.70 to buy the full size of products I want

Not sure how that NARS lipstick will look on my dark skin so another thing to add to goodie bags for birthdays.

It’s the same as box #093. Would have preferred the MUFE blush than the Nars lipstick though. I’m swapping the Nars with MUFE if anybody’s interested. 🙂
