Hi, Kay. Thanks for posting about the #55 box! I really wanted the rose toner last month – or was it the month before? – but I’m getting it this month. So it might happen and/or those products might come up as 100-point samples. That’s happened to me a few times.

I suppose you’re right. I might get these in the future. I’ve been with them over 2 years and it’s only happened once with the cover fx drops, but lightning can strike twice! 😀

I’m getting box #44, someday (still processing …. sigh). This is a great box! Besides the pep start, which everyone’s getting – how great is that btw? – I’ve also been wanting to try the Smashbox primerizer and the Fresh rose floral toner. I’ve only heard rave reviews for these 2 products, but since it’s in Sephora Play!, I’m sure there will be haters (sigh…) The ABS lip gloss looks dark enough for me; last month I got the MUFE lip color in a shade that was slightly lighter than my lipcolor so it didn’t show up. I also broke the bullet off but that’s another story. YAY January box #44; please come home!!

Wow, that is hard not to get angry over. I’m getting irritated because I order 4 or 5 Beauty boxes but they all come in the same two-day period. So it’s really not like getting a surprise every few days like I thought it would be. I’m usually putting up half of what I get on the swap website anyway because I wear mineral makeup and they really don’t do ANYTHING for girls that like Bare Minerals or neutral make-up except for I’ve gotten some good Anastasia lip gloss colors and a couple of lip boosters from dermstore And dermstore is heavy on skin care which is what everyone can use and I wish I got more of that. You should definitely email Sephora so you have a record and request another box and a refund since someone was so stupid to pick up an empty box and send it to you. Good luck

I got box 044. Not happy with the hair conditioner. I never use them.. I subscribed to this box because I like getting the perfume samples. And last month I got a similar lip color. Notvery excited for this box…

Same! I Gabe my hair care away immediately. I use one specific line of hair care products. Won’t use others. I hate that they stopped the perfumes every month. That was the one true surprise! I’ve been able to find ones I love and have come across some I don’t Like at all. Going to see how February’s box is. I may just cancel. Did not care for the January box I got. Got box 28, & so far all I’ve used is the Lancôme Mascara primer. May give everything else away except the GlamGlow & the toner. 👎🏻

Very rare that there’s an item I’m sad not to get, and when there is, I remember that it’s probably a very small sample anyway.

I got box 028 and I’m not too impressed. There is no color item at all and both the eye cream and primerizer are tiny! I’m happy to receive hair products instead of perfume as a bonus item, but frankly, I suspect Sephora is reserving the best samples for their favorites boxes and gwp offers.
In other news, I have also received the wrong samples with my last 2 purchases, they weren’t even the same category of products. They also canceled an out of stock item and the qualifying gwp item as well. I think it’s time for a break from Sephora and play.

I’ve noticed the same with Sephora purchases.. the last few times I haven’t received the samples that I selected. It’s like they just grab what’s in front of them and throw it in. 🙁 I don’t complain to them because, after all, they’re FREE samples.. but it’s still disappointing when you are excited to try a certain sample. I placed an order a few days ago and selected an item with points… now if the points item gets switched out, I’ll most certainly contact them and request my points back. I decided against Sephora Play since they don’t give the bonus perfume sample anymore.

I’m with you, Yarngirl!!! I placed a Sephora order about three weeks ago. It arrived on time but didn’t have ANY samples, much less the ones I had selected. I emailed customer service to let them know; I was not trying to get three samples mailed separately or even anything at all. They replied to me with an incredibly rude response. They said that they reserve the right not to send any samples at all. They seemed insulted that I had even contacted them because free samples were given out of the goodness of their heart and free samples “had no value” and basically too bad, so sad. If that’s the case, why do they make such a big deal about selecting samples before checkout? Why do they advertise three free samples with any size order? They have to know people value the samples, especially as a lot of us pay them $10 a month for a bag of samples with Sephora play. I have received samples before that I didn’t select but that was because my choices were out of stock. No problem. For me, it was no longer about the items at all but instead became about the poor customer service response. I thought at best they would apologize and give me a couple of points or something. They may “reserve the right” not to send the samples, but I reserve the right to go down the street and take my business to Ulta.

This is my box and I’m happy that I can use all of it! Not that excited about the lip color as brownish shades look awful on me, but I can at least try it since I haven’t tried anasthasia before. Play has been really good to me, and matched my needs really well recently.

Yup , me too! Never get samples I select. Once I got some random one thrown in instead of the 3 I selected and was completely wrong for my skin type. I’ve decided it’s better to not expect it and if anything shows up then yay. I’ve also had problems with grumpy couldn’t car customer service. Great products and website and I love play but they need to overhaul customer service, billing and order fullfillment.

I’m 044 too. I get a lot of lip glosses in this shade. Fortunately , I have a couple gals to share with. I’ll try the rest and who knows, maybe I’ll gind a winner. Sephora forgets my samples sometimes too. It’s irritating seeing that we are paying premium prices for our purchases.

No it’s literally happened to me OVER and OVER I’m a makeup artist and I frequently order and they do it all of the time. Then they say that they included it on my profile. Some samples I reordered like 3-5 times, still never received them

This totally sucks! What happened to the Sunday Riley full-size CEO that everybody was supposed to get? Can someone tell me? It looks like no one got it. And if it was supposed to come in December I didn’t get it then either. I got box O 28 and one of the samples of a primer is the tiniest sample I have ever seen in fact it is only 2 drams the only thing That I like and I can use the fresh Rose toner but I wish it had a spray pump.

Still waiting on spoilers for #077!
I’ve tried the Glamglow cleanser and I like it well enough. 0.5 oz is a decent size, too.
The rest of the spoilers don’t excite me all that much. I’m interested in the Perricone MD moisturizer, the Fresh toner, and the Lancome mascara primer but the rest I’ve either tried already or am not terribly interested in. Oh well. Maybe I’ll get lucky and get one of those three products.
