Panda Pals January 2018 Review
This month's box has a happiness theme to it. Why might you ask? Because it is the New Year and with that comes a new found joy and happiness! Our first pair of socks is filled with fun prints like a crown, presents, and even some party related images. I love the bold red and the happy vibe these have.
Meet Nikos the Panda! We will learn more about Nikos in our activity sheet. I love how the featured character from the activity sheet is always included on one of the socks each month. Nikos looks so happy and full of joy. My son loves animals and he got a big kick out of this little character, and the bold colors on this pair of socks are too fun!
Every month you will receive a "soctivity" page for you and your little one to enjoy. I already introduced you to Nikos the Panda, but here he is again to help us learn about this month's activities.
Continuing down on our activity page, your little one can write down what makes them happy. My whole family decided to take part in this activity, writing down what makes each of us happy, a great exercise for everyone to get involved in! There is a space to draw a happy face as well, again, our theme for the month is all about happiness in the New Year. There is also a section where you can match words that mean "happy" to their country. This one was tricky so your little one might need some extra help from you.
The final activity is about flags, including a section to draw your own flag. So cool! There is even a section about Iceland and it's national flag. This section is incredibly interesting and a fun way to make learning fun!
Panda Pals always sends along a few extra items that are great for your little one to play with. This month I received this really pretty floral tape roll. My son used this to decorate some of his latest drawings, but I might use this as well for sealing envelopes or wrapping a present.
Verdict: Panda Pals is always a fun box filled with socks, always something we are in need of, and little activities for my son to enjoy! The socks are made very well, you can tell they are going to last, and they are very warm. I think what I love most are the unique prints of each sock, the designs aren't ones you are going to find at most clothing stores.

Value Breakdown: At $16 a month including shipping, the socks break down to about $8 a piece. This might seem like a higher price point for socks, but I love the unique prints that you receive each month. The socks are also very high quality and have worn very well! Plus, you get the fun activity pages and surprise toys, and you are helping to donate socks to people in need with every purchase you make from Panda Pals.
