This box came with a card detailing the items included, instructions for use, and ingredients.

Now, on to the items!

Le Metier de Beaute Creme Fresh Tint in Ginger Lily - Retail Value $28

This lip + cheek tint is super creamy with excellent pigment, and enough shine to give you a dewy look. (I opted to use this as a blush and I loved how well it blended out.) FYI - a little goes a long way!

Le Metier de Beaute Lip Creme in Breathe - Retail Value $42

This is called a lip creme, but to me, the formula is your standard lip gloss. High shine, a subtle shimmer, and just a hint of the mauve-pink color. It wasn't too sticky, either.

Here it is swatched beneath the Creme Fresh Tint:

Verdict: This box has a value of about $70 - I think that's great for the $29 a month cost for full-size makeup. Both of these shades are super wearable for me, so I'll get a ton of use out of the January box.

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. This subscription is only available for purchase once a year. The next time it opens for purchase is May 2018 through July 2018.

Coupon – no coupons available for this subscription.

I think this would be more popular of a box and have more subscribers if one didn’t have to pay $348 upfront. I do believe that $29/month (which adds up to $348 a year, of course) is a more affordable option that this brand should consider. I also think it would help others to be more familiar with this brand. At this time, I’m more skincare-focused and have been buying skincare (not skincare sub boxes, at least at this time, though I’m eyeing BeautyFix to try at some point for a month, who knows). I absolutely DO agree with quality over quantity as well. I have three indie subs for makeup right now and made an order recently to another independent company, Wake the Dead Scrubs.

I love that cream. That would last forever as a blush and it looks so pretty.

I think I might bite the bullet this & try this subscription out. 🙂

Hi Luna, I signed up last year and have been pretty happy with items received. I have been working toward quality over quantity and this fits that for me. Since I am more skin care than makeup it has been fun to get a few makeup items but makeup is not the full focus of this box.

That’s good to hear! I’m also more skincare focused, but still enjoy dabbling in some makeup here & there. With the exception of the eye shadows, I’d keep everything else I’ve seen featured in the box (I don’t wear eyeshadow which is why that would be gifted).
