When I had a billing issue with them, got a message that basically said “Sorry, but enjoy your boxes.” I disputed the charge with my bank and got my money back. Now I’ll only do one time purchases with them. Hope they do a past box sale soon.

I had my worst experience ever with a sub with Glossybox. It went on for months. They had advertised six items for one month and I only got five. I contacted them several times with their own website showing six Items advertised But they Kept Denying It Said Six. Finally They Actually Looked At Their Own Site Then Went In And Changed The Page To Say Five Then Emailed Me And Said Now It Says Five. I Had To Contact BBB And File A Complaint. I Had Saved The Page That Said Six Items But Glossybox Refused To Answer Any Of BBB Attempts To Contact Them. They Are A Terrible Company!!

They are trying to entice people with that 40% off…but seriously, don’t do it lol after my experience with glossybox I had replaced it with BeautyFix because I was looking for a more skincare based box anyway (plus I get like 3 other beauty boxes lol) and they are awesome….i would definetly look around because even though the products are good (if you ever get the box) there are much better options…good luck! 😊

I just ordered a 6 month box subscription through Gilt with a seventh bonus box. I got a bunch of frequent flyer miles for it but I’m not sure if it’s worth it to try to hang in there or if I should try to dispute it with my credit card company. I have already gotten two messages from them saying the January box is not out because they’re waiting for products to arrive. Not good

I also had a horrible experience ***this is only in regards to customer service and NOT the products themselves*** my first box was supposed to be December and they sent me an expired box (Sept 2016!!) with dried up and empty samples .. I contacted them and they said they were sending the right box… when 2 weeks came and went i contacted them again and AGAIN they said they are sending it….when I never got it I finally called and said I want to cancel and want my money back.. I clearly said I did NOT want January…. and what happens… I get charged for January and then I ended up getting the box that I didn’t want… when I called back about this Bull**** And I explained everything for a third time …she’s telling me well we see you’re Jan Box was delivered so I can no longer get refunded for it because I have it (even though I cancelled & they screwed up) so I argue back and forth and she says “well you should def get your money back for December … but here’s a form you need to sign and send back to us in the message center” WHAT?!? So before my head exploded I said whatever I’ll sign it and send it back …. so now I’m laughing because I go to upload it to the message center and there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY to send it.. I’m not letting them get away with such horrendous customer service and first thing Monday morning I WILL be calling again…I subscribe to MANY subs and this one is by far the WORST. They make you handle their mistakes.. never an offer of an immediate refund or even a free gift, they handle it like it’s the consumers fault…if I ever had an issue like this with any other subscription box, first it would be handled on the first call and second there would be either a credit given, refund, free gift or all three!! … BUYER BEWARE!! There are much better options out there.

I feel for you. I have been back and forth with Glossybox customer service for over a month now. I refuse to let them get away with their awful Customer Service. I still have not received my December box. To cut a long story in half I moved in the middle of November- changed my address with them ahead of time because I enjoyed getting my Glossybox and wanted to make sure I got it! Well, I didn’t. They sent it to the wrong address and then after a half dozen more calls where I was sure to remind them of the changed address they sent the replacement box to the wrong address. Unbelievable! They pulled that BS with me too about signing a form. I refused. I was not inconveniencing myself for their mistake. I begged them to make this better. I really wanted to keep my account. Unfortunately I felt like I had to cancel. So, in plenty of time I did just that. Low and behold the 1st of January I was charged. I called in a nd was told itf was to late for a refund as the box was already being processed. But they did give me some useless GB credits! I accepted this because I do like the products. I was flabbergasted when I opened my email and saw that they had again shipped it to the wrong address!! I demanded and received a refund for January. But, I am still waiting for my December box and will not accept anything else. I was told it was shipped to the correct address last Friday the 12th. I was also told initially that they could not get tracking numbers for replacement boxes. But later told they would supply me with one. I have not received the box or the tracking number yet. I will be on the phone again Monday as well. I have an email address for a supervisor that I have been in contact with if you would like it. Let me know-

So they messaged me back today and said “oh we put in a request for you to get the December box and we’re sorry you haven’t received it, but I processed a refund for December” you would think this is the first time I’m talking to them with the way I was replied to. The disturbing thing is if I sent a regular message just asking a question I would NEVER get an answer, but the minute I threatened that I am filing a complaint with BBB they replied in less the 24 hours.

After reading these horror stories (yes, I have my own too), they should be shut down and taken over by someone who actually cares about beauty products and the women who love them!

Jeri, I had the same issue back in Nov. I paid for 3 boxes and only received 2. After multiple emails, phone calls and some type of form, I never received my money back. I gave up because it was only 10 dollars. I considered it my loss and lesson to learn, but I will never give my money to Glossy ever again.

I ordered a limited edition box back in November, kept getting emails saying sorry for the delay but they will get the box out asap. It’s been 2 months and still nothing. No box, no refund, no more email status updates. Bummer because this is the first box I sub’d to and I really love everything.

Oh no, that’s terrible! I’ve had mixed results with glossy, but my experience was try, try, and try some more! Eventually they respond lol, just keep hassling them 😉
Also, ask for compensation especially since you’ve had to wait so long! They should be able to give you points or a free gift or discount code or something!

I got Glossybox for the first time in December, then cancelled immediately. Had no issues at all with them or customer service.
This is a great deal with the 40% off, so glad I waited to purchase again.

Since you ordered after the 15 th you will automatically be charged 21 on the 1 st for next month box even if you cancel now…

Don’t do it! Oh my gosh!
I still have not got my December box…
I’ve been promised it numerous times. The last time I was told it shipped a week ago Friday. I was also told they have no access to tracking numbers in replacement boxes!!?? Right.
Anyway, buyer BEWARE. Read some other reviews. I’m not the only one.
