November 2017 ‘Crime and Politics’ Firefly Cargo Crate Review

Like the September box, this was SUPER late. Loot Crate has been having shipping issues across its boxes lately – so make note of that if you need your geeky goods on time!

You’ll find details and stories about the featured character – and all the info you need about your items.

Badger Family Heirloom Flamingo Pin – Value $10?

Every delivery comes with a themed pin. This month’s pin is more of a lapel pin for your Badger cosplay needs. Very cool.

Crooks in Ties Shirt – Value $15?

This month’s shirt is a callout to Badger’s style choices.

Little Damn Heroes – Badger Figure – Value $20-25

This month’s figure gives you a better look at Badger’s style choices!

This figure line features figures that are 5 inches tall – with the character as the centerpiece. The January figure is the last in the line, so I’m curious to see what happens next.

QBit Figure – Value $10-15?

I was happy to see the return of QBit figures in this month’s box! We’re now into series 2 of the figure line, and everyone got Malcolm.

I really like this little stylized figure line. It seems like these will keep rolling out with future boxes, even if the main figure line changes.

Eavesdown Docks Wave Card – Value $5?

You’ll get an exclusive postcard to send to a friend.

Finally, the deliveries usually arrive with a travel sticker to collect with every theme.

Verdict: I’m a big collector, so I can’t help but enjoy adding to both figure lines. The downside, I really don’t have any feelings about Badger as a character, so all of the Badger-themed items had me feeling a bit ‘ehh’. With the $7 price increase, that means you’re going to have to like most of the box to get value from it, too. Let’s see where this subscription goes.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. You’ll find the current theme on their landing page.

COUPON – Save 10% off any length subscription with code ADDICTION

  1. Unfortunately my QBit arrived broken. Mal’s head came off as soon as I took him out of the box. After a week of back and forth emails, they finally agreed to send me a replacement in another 2-4 weeks. As much as I love Firefly, between this and the price increase and the delayed shipping, I’m close to canceling. 😟

    • My Qbit Mal did to. They sent a replacement in about a week, even though they said it would be weeks. The Badger crate was the last straw, I just cancelled today.

  2. I LOVE Badger! I am looking to swap for the Badger fig & the flamingo pin. I have most of the other Little Damn Heroes figures unlisted. Click on my name to hit me up on the swap boards!

    • Hi Marion, I can’t figure out how to hit you up on the swap boards. I would imagine this is a very very very long shot but is there any chance you have the Kaylee figure and would be willing to swap for Badger/the pin (the whole badger box)? I didn’t know about the sub until the second box 🙁
