Bezel Box Mini December 2017 Review

This month’s box includes a set of earrings and a necklace. Let’s see the pieces.

This box came with a card showing the included jewelry and outfit suggestions for the pieces.

Bezel Box Mini December 2017 - Necklace Pendant

Bezel Box Mini December 2017 - Necklace Chain

Long Starburst Pendant Necklace

The necklace this month is a long beaded necklace with a pendant that is shaped like a starburst. The pendant has a mix of orange and turquoise stones, clear rhinestones, and a blue and white marbled stone in the center. The chain is beaded with gold, turquoise, and navy beads. I like them individually but it feels like a lot going on in one necklace.

Bezel Box Mini December 2017 - Necklace Clasp

There is a lobster claw clasp with an extender so the length can be adjusted.

Bezel Box Mini December 2017 - Necklace Back

The back of the pendant in smooth so it doesn’t catch on soft shirts.

Bezel Box Mini December 2017 - Necklace Worn

Since it is a busy necklace, I paired it with a simple white shirt and feel like it made me look a little more fun. As summer approaches, I’ll think I’ll find more opportunities to wear this. I also paired them with a pair of the studs below.

Tazza Blue Stone Stud Earrings - Set of Three

This is a little set of three stud earrings. They are for pierced ears and have wide backs that make putting them on easy. Two of the pairs of studs have blue and black marbled stones and one set is small and the other slightly larger. The third set is sized in between the other two and has blue and silver faceted beads fixed to it. These have a bit more sparkle than the flat stones. All three pairs have yellow gold-toned metal as the base. The display card says they are lead and nickel free (all jewelry in this box should be).

Bezel Box Mini December 2017 - Earrings Worn

Here I’m wearing the smallest of the three pairs. I like these little studs and find that they really pick up whatever color I’m wearing. They don’t irritate my ears at all even after wearing them for a few days.

The Verdict: My Bezel Box Mini this month was less matchy-matchy than previous months, which I like. The pieces still coordinate if I want to wear them together though. I think I’ll get a lot of use out of the studs since much of my wardrobe is blue or black. So, for $24.99 with free shipping, I got two pieces of cute jewelry that will take me into spring and summer. I like that this box seems to vary in the styles they send so subscribers don’t end up with lots of similar jewelry. One thing I noticed about this month that wasn’t great was that it felt like the quality of the items was lower than previous months. I’ll keep an eye out to see if that improves next month.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, if you sign up today, your first box will be the February box.

Value Breakdown: This box cost me $24.99, which means that each of the pieces in the box has an average cost of $12.50.
