  1. I have tried this mask! I love sheet masks. It was very soothing to wear and my skin was brighter after I wore it. But the serum is very sticky and doesn’t absorb well. I didn’t think the quality was great. The mask is paper and tears easily. I have gotten similar results from $8-10 masks, so definitely would not pay RV for it. I hope the rest of the box is great. I’d be happy to try the mask again but this as a hero item wouldn’t make me subscribe.

  2. $35?!?! Holy guacamole! Does it come with a happy ending?

    • LoL! You are so funny! I love reading comments…They can really brighten your day!

  3. I guess I’d rather not get a $35 mask in my box because even though I’m not paying $35 for it, I know BeautyFix aims for a certain total retail value and I don’t want this mask taking up $35 of the allotted retail value when it’s only worth $2-3 for me. Instead of getting the $35 mask, I’d rather get a full size skincare product that’s worth closer to $35 for me.

    • I understand what you’re saying… but lately beautyfix has been featuring higher end skincare, so there won’t be skincare items for full size around $35…unless it’s a cleanser. I think it’s nice to try an expensive sheet mask to see if it is actually better than cheaper ones. Masks are an important part of skincare..

  4. I love receiving items in our BB that I wouldn’t consider trying or purchasing due to cost…this mask certainly fits the criteria! 🤗

  5. There is no such thing as a “vegan stem cell”. Just hype to inflate the retail value of a product.

    • There is more than one type of stem cell, not just human (embryonic) or other animal (embryonic). Plants have stem cells and thus, it’s labeled as vegan to show it is plant-based.

  6. Looks like I am about to cancel. This used to be my favorite box, but now the direction they are going is not what I am looking for now. All the foil packages and tiny products and the type of products are disturbing.

    • I agree. I have been a subscriber for over a year and the last couple of boxes have been extremely disappointing. Not to mention I have gotten the same sample several times from them.

  7. That is kind of a disappointment, just got my first box last month. People think the more an item costs the better it is, so people will pay the price. How many times have you seen something cheap and won’t even try it because since it is so inexpensive you think it can’t be good? Diamond dust does not absorb in the skin, but people will buy it because it must be good it is diamond dust and costs 200 dollars a bottle. There is no evidence caviar does anything for you hair and skin, but it sounds so ritzy it must!… Just Sayin 🙂

    • I fully respect & understand what you’re saying, but just to play devil’s advocate, I have seen plenty of times where people react negatively to a high-priced product just because it’s high-priced, and they’re fully determined to not like/dismiss it and show how not impressed they are just because of the price without giving the product a chance. Fortunately, I’m willing to give any product a try, from drugstore products to super luxe, and because of this I’ve found some great finds on both ends of the spectrum. 🙂

And, just to throw my two cents in… I’m really excited to try this sheet mask! Since it has the word “lift” I’m wondering if it’s one of those masks with the ear hooks to keep the mask very taut against the face. If that’s the case, then I will definitely be gifting it (the feeling of all of that serum around my ears and in my hair… ewww haha).

      • I know.. I love masks.. the D’or masks colleagon mask make a difference in my skin. I love masks. I am saving mine for a job interview… can’t wait.. so thrilled. i loved this box and am easing the Avene in my routine. I had been wanting to try a retinoid so happy about that. And BF can repeat Skinceuticals tiny samples a million times. I will right there to open the box. I love that brand just need to set a goal that I can have that line.

  8. I LOVE sheet masks!

  9. It says there are three coupons, but there are only two listed.

  10. $35.00 per sheet mask?? I would expect other thing more than this. not even worth the money. I think the market rise the RV higher to offer discount or make consumer feel they have a good deal when deep discount coming up.

  11. Hanacure type mask??!!! I have the D’or gold masks and I am still holding 3. After using the face roller tool we got from BF, I use the gold mask. My ski.n is amazing fire a week.I am super excited. I’m all in. Again!

    • That is what I was thinking! Use this after derma rolling. Will probably save for a special occasion, but I have one coming up in the spring. I bet this will be amazing.

  12. So excited for this. I have 2 months worth of sheet masks but none are like this😎 I love my beautyfix and only complained about December. Last months was amazing 😍

  13. Beautyfix upgraded their site so now you can cancel or put your sub on hold online. It’s much better!

    • I just went to their site and did not see an option to skip. I just went ahead and cancelled for now. Can you tell me what I need to do to skip?

      • I cancelled mine on my phone, and it gave me an option to cancel or place the sub on hold. Try a different device next time.

        • I just tried to skip by calling Dermstore. The service rep said there is no skipping. Just cancelling and re-subbing. So I cancelled because I don’t want this upcoming February box.

  14. I don’t understand why people are upset about a $35 sheet mask from a high end brand. Isn’t that what sub boxes are about…trying new things and potentially luxe products people can’t afford every day? I love this! I can go out and buy $10-15 masks any day but this one will be a treat!

    • People will find anything to complain about with sub boxes, sub sampling boxes, full-sized products in full-size boxes… people just complain.

    • Totally agree! This is probably why subscription box are closing down, Adidas is a good example. Subscription boxes are to try new products!

      • This, too. I LOVED the Adidas subscription. And everybody just complained non-stop and wanted it to be something it wasn’t.

      • I am still bummed about Adidas canceling. It was my favorite. I never could understand all the complaints about the Banned from Normal box. People were selling just the sweatshirt and pants on eBay for more than the cost of the box!

    • Excellent point! Nobody is paying $35 for this mask. You get to try it, at a much lower cost.

    • EXACTLY!!! Thank you. I’m also excited to try this. It’s a great, fun, different spoiler.

    • Exactly! What will our cost end up being, $5 a most? This is one of those products I would see at Sephora and say whaaaat?!? But it could be a miracle worker that’s completely justifiable at that price. If it wasn’t in this box for me to try out I’d never know. This is what I love about sub boxes.

      • I couldn’t have said it better WB…sub boxes are my way of looking for my “holy grail” products without paying ridiculous retail prices. But…if I do find something that really works, I will pay the price!

    • I knew before I even got to the comments that people would be complaining about the mask

    • I agree TK. I have been subbing to this box for years and truly have never not gotten the box price back in value even with some items being a miss here and there.

I’m actually excited to try a $35 mask! I mean really? Who would pay that and not appreciate the chance to try it for a couple bucks?

It is tiring to see people constantly complain! Instead of looking for the bad how about looking at the good here and there. lol If the price of the sub is too much to risk being disappointed by an item like this maybe it’s time to re-asses? 🙂

      • I love this addition into February’s box. At that price point, I would be too nervous to buy without trying one first. I can’t wait to try it!

    • I think people are upset because most likely this one mask will be the highlight of the box. People like to try new things in order to purchase in the future if it’s a product that works for them. Even if this mask is ‘bombtastic’ I’m not going to be purchasing $35.00 masks in the future. I’ll enjoy it, but wouldn’t spend my money on it.

    • I’m not upset, I do love sheet masks. I imagine setting aside all evening for this mask. This mask will wine and dine me. I’m going to use my dermaroller, and then my fabulous mask and I will share a bath. We will eat dainty chocolates and sip fancy bubbly water. It will be amazing!!! It better be amazing.
The problem for me is that if this mask is indeed amazing, I could NEVER justify purchasing it. Even if I was filthy rich. I’m almost hoping that it’s not too great, so that I won’t be wishing for it. 😂

      • When you think about it, if you’re only supposed to use it once a week or every other week, the price is not that outrageous. Good serums are $100plus for a month’s supply I don’t think this is as outrageous as some people are making it out to be. You only have one face…if it doesn’t work that that’s a different story of course

        • I do purchase a monthly serum for around $100. But doing the math, that comes out to be approx $3.00 per use, not $35.00 per use. This 1 time mask is expensive. There is no doubt about it.

  15. I’m a face mask addict and am super excited about trying this sheet mask in the box. If it does what it says (lifts and tightens) I would totally consider paying the price. The Passport to Beauty Gold Face masks with rose oil are $35 per mask….and those work! I and my husband (without being printed) see immediate results. Aside from having to lay down for the ‘treatment’, they are worth the cost (though bc they are on eBay I only pay around $10 per mask)…..I’m happy either way!!

  16. Spoiler #2 Diamond Nail File, RV $115

Spoiler #3 Sheet Mask No. 2 RV $85

    RV of February Box, OVER $200 ! ! ! !

    • Hi, where did you get this information from? Could you provide a link to the items or a brand name? Thanks!

      • It’s sarcasm hun.

      • Hi Carmen,
I’m sorry. I was totally joking. If I knew, I’d have shared. It’s just what it feels like walking the aisles of boutiques sometimes. It isn’t the boxes, because that is the RV that they get, and it’s the price that things sell for, sometimes.

Was hoping somebody had some new spoilers, because I’ve missed this subscription for a few months and it used to be one of my favorites.

    • Hahahahaha! I love it. Totally agree.

Spoiler #4: Lip scrub, RV $45

  17. It would sit and sit because I would feel so bad using it. I think I still have that Charlotte Tilbury mask it taunts me too. One day I will use the darn thing.

    • sheet mask… pretty inexpensive if it is dry mask. works though. A good soak, glass of wine, everyone out for a bit, and a face mask… have mercy! I have to put on James Brown I FEEL GOOD when I get out of the tub.

  18. That is crazy expensive…but it did win Allure Best of Beauty 2016 award. I’d love to hear from someone who actually tried it!

    • I’ll get back to you in a couple of weeks 🤣

  19. OK, I agree that $35 seems a bit extreme for a mask. But you are only paying $25 for the entire box and there will likely be other items that you can hopefully enjoy and use. So you aren’t actually paying that much for the mask. The benefit of subscription boxes is to get items that seem like they have ridiculous RV’s to see for yourself if they are really worth it…except at a deep discount. I can’t wait to put this on and pretend my life is alot more luxurious than it really is. LOL.

    • Just wait until people start putting it up for swap with RV $35 listed.

      • Ya, I feel that “pain”….and that’s one reason why I don’t swap. (The biggest reason is that I’m just too lazy. Haha.) If there’s something I have duplicates of or just don’t want/can’t use, I try to find someone that could or give it away. This one, however, will get used in all of it’s $35 glory and I’ll force myself to enjoy it. 😉

      • Seriously – this is why I stopped swapping on here. You didn’t pay anywhere near the RV of items folks, they shouldn’t factor into swaps!

        • It mostly only matters as a way to keep the swaps even. Definitely there are some people who go overboard about it, but mainly it’s just that people don’t want to trade, for example, real gold jewelry for a couple low-end skincare samples or to trade this Lancer mask for a $1 Target mask. RV is pretty much just a shorthand way of keeping things balanced.

        • I completely agree. If we paid the same for an item (like if it came from them same box as a variation) it should be an even swap even if yours has a higher RV

  20. I want to see the other spoilers in the box before committing. The RV isn’t set by BeautyFix as it’s set by the company who makes them. With that said, I’d need more convincing to buy this box. There should be plenty more spoilers to make a decision (being the optimist here, not the constant whiner).

  21. $35 for one sheet mask is obscene. That being said, I still want it.

    • Me too! I don’t have a stash of these laying around.

  22. Agree this is a bad spoiler. May need to go ahead and cancel if second spoiler not good. Ridiculously priced!J

  23. For 35 dollars for one time, like 10 minute usage, it better get rid of every pore I have and also do my taxes.

    • lol!

  24. I just canceled 🙁 Lure me back, Beautyfix!

  25. I could light a twenty, a ten and a five dollar bill on fire for heat – and I would be getting more out of & feel better about myself utilizing – than that $35 sheet mask.

  26. I cancelled my subscription due to sample overload. So far, no FOMO. 😛

  27. If this box would throw in some specialty chocolates bars monthly it would be perfect :)~
    Chocolate makes everything better 🙂

  28. I seriously had to look this up. I was hoping it was a box of 10 masks, maybe even 5 high end masks. Nope, just one. I really feel like I should get a bonus with this mask if I were to buy it. This would be as disappointing as going to Vegas just to realize that everyone does not get a Tiger when they go there. I really still want my Tiger.

    • That’s it I’m canceling my trip to Vegas. 😉

      • LOL

  29. Wow that is a disappointing spoiler…

  30. 1 sheet mask that costs $35?!?!?!

    • no sh*t. It better make me look 25 again

  31. Compared to the full size Avene in the January box this is pretty disappointing!

  32. Beautyfix is my favorite box. That being said, no sheet mask on the planet is worth $35. Period.

    • Right?!? Pretty sure my grandma would have referred to a $35 single use product as “throwing money down the drain.”

    • Exactly what Tat said! For another few dollars you can have a whole facial done LOL! I personally HATE sheet masks..they never fit my face right–leaving gaps in areas by my nose or lips…areas that in particular need attention. I’d rather smooth the product on and ensure my entire face is treated..just my opinion.

      • Facials at decent spas are $100plus….

    • Ditto. That is insane.

Even top-end K-beauty sheet masks which provide fantastic, immediate results do not even approach this price ($10 – $15 is the high end and way more than I would ever pay.)

    • I agree a $35 sheet mask is totally outrageous. The 4 pack for $120 is hardly a bargain either.
