Rachel Comey Factor Earrings - Retail Value $115.00, Member Price $105.00

I am sooooo in love with these earrings! I like most of the items I try from Switch, but this is the first pair I've seriously considered buying. They're acrylic and about 2.5 inches long—as you can tell from the photo of me wearing them, they're big statement-makers. But something about the geometric shape and the tortoiseshell palate makes them really versatile and modern-feeling. I tend to like simpler, modern styles, and these really fit the bill. I may never send them back...

Chains and Pearls Pearl Hoop Earrings - Retail Value $350.00, Member Price $270.00

I've been getting more into pearls lately. I used to think they were a little too traditional for my tastes, but I've been loving some of the more modern iterations of pearl jewelry I've found lately. These delicate hoops are a great example. They're so simple and understated, despite their size. (They're 2 inches in diameter.) The only tricky part is that you secure them by threading one end of the hoop into the hollow other end. And that hollow end is narrow! It's tough to do when you're not in front of a mirror.

Yu Crescent Moon Stud Earrings - Retail Value $440.00, Member Price $308.00

These earrings are amaaaaaazing. I love star and moon shapes, and these crescent moons have the added bonus of being impossibly slender and elegant. Sprinkled with crystals and light as a feather, they're the kind of magic little accessory that could light up an ordinary t-shirt and jeans or complete a going-out LBD. They're the smallest of the group, but by design alone, I'm not surprised that they're also the most expensive. Even holding them in my hands, they feel special!

The Verdict: I loved this set of items from Switch! It's so much fun to shop for new styles month to month (or more/less frequently, if you'd like). I think Switch's wheelhouse is logo-centric pieces (Chanel CC earrings, etc.), but I've found quite a few logo-free looks that really speak to my style. If you've got designer tastes, but maybe not a designer budget, or if you're trying to Marie-Kondo your closet going into the new year, then this ever-rotating rental service could be an awesome way to save money and space in your jewelry box!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? This exact box? Well, once I return these pieces, they'll be available again, haha! You can, however, always sign up and shop the oodles of other earrings, necklaces, and bracelets they offer!

Value Breakdown: These three pieces cost $69.00 to rent, which is a great deal if it works for your budget and needs. It's is pricier than Rocksbox (which offers mid-range designer jewelry) but less than Rent the Runway (which offers designer jewelry, accessories, and clothes, too).  To rent just one piece per month is $29.00, so you're saving about $6.00 per piece. To buy them at retail, the items I got would cost $905.00 in total.

Also, the member price for all of the pieces is $683.00 in total. But remember, you get $10.00 off because you're a member! So that's $673.00 to buy everything. You're saving $232.00 in total (with your member discount)!
