Jelly Pong Pong – Stardrops in “Supernova” - Retail Value $34

This is a highly pigmented and shimmery liquid highlighter that blends out beautifully. (You could also mix a drop of this in with your liquid foundation if you want more of a glowy finish.)

They sent a similar liquid highlighter last month (a different color, though) and my only issue with this is the applicator. The formula is too thick for a dropper. This really should have been in a squeezable tube.

Jelly Pong Pong Dream Palette in “Nightingale” - Retail Value $20

I'm almost always impressed with the eyeshadow palettes from So Susan, and this one is another winner. It's a gorgeous warm brown shimmer quad, with excellent pigment.

The colors were easy to blend, too. (Swatched in lower photo.)

So Susan Liquid Matte in “Chocolate Berry” - Retail Value $14

This shade is a bit too dark for me, but the formula is everything I want in a liquid lip: matte finish, non-drying, super pigmented, and stays put!

Trifle Cosmetics Truffle Mascara - Retail Value $24

This is my first time trying a mascara from the So Susan makeup family, and I'm impressed! It delivers on all fronts: volume, length, and lash separation!

Limited Edition Makeup Bag - Value $12

I'm digging the bright colors, but I would have loved to see them do a holiday/winter design this month!

The bag is made of a spill-proof vinyl material with a fabric lining.

Verdict: This month's So Susan Lip Love bag has a value of about $104! I think that value is fantastic for a $21 ingredient-conscious makeup subscription box.

If you are looking for a vegan, ingredient-conscious makeup subscription, I can't recommend this one enough. The value is great, the formulas are great, and the bonus bag is always super cute!
