ShoeDazzle is a monthly shoe, clothing, and accessories subscription service. You can shop their merchandise like normal retail, but they have a VIP subscription that gives you better prices – many styles are only $39.95 (or less) for VIPs. When you sign up for a membership, you complete a style profile. On the 1st of every month, they release new styles, and you can pick any item you want - either from your personal "Showroom" or across the site. You can also skip the month. However, if you don’t pick or skip, you get charged $39.95 store credit to spend any time.
This model is similar to how JustFab, Fabletics, and AdoreMe work. JustFab and Shoedazzle are under the same umbrella company, actually. Surprisingly enough, the shoes I ordered on Shoedazzle came in a JustFab box!
My Subscription Addiction pays for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes)

Shoedazzle December 2017 Sock Booties Review
In addition to the shoes, I got a coupon a coupon for Naked Wines.
Anka Ankle Knit Bootie, Size 8 - Retail Value $59.95, VIP Price $39.95
I wanted something party appropriate from Shoedazzle this month. I loved the color of these online, though it looks a little less vibrant in person. I like wearing stilettos, but I rarely feel super secure in them. My hopes were that the bootie-like nature of these high heels would give me more of the stability I need.
If you can't tell, these shoes have an upper that's a lot like a sweater. Well, it's more like a leggings-ish synthetic-feeling fabric than sweater fabric, but you get the idea. They're referred to as "sock booties" on the Shoedazzle site, and that's true to how they work. Unlike normal shoes you'd zip on or wriggle your foot down into, these heels pull on much like a sock.
I really like the winter-but-not-too-wintry vibe of these heels. They seem like something I could wear with a silvery skirt and a sweater for a less traditional take on holiday party outfit. The sweater-like patterns in the sock uppers have a cozy vibe to them, and while it's not as vivid as I thought it'd be, the lilac color is unique and fresh—I feel like I could wear these way into the spring, no problem.
The only concern I have is that the sock bootie part of the shoe has the stability of, well, a sock. I guess I should've anticipated that? I'm used to booties hugging my feet like figure skates (seasonal metaphors FTW!) and keeping my feet sitting securely on top of stiletto heels. With these, my feet move around a ton. That means I'm a bit wobblier than usual on these 4.75" heels. I like the design so much that I'm willing to save 'em for less-mobile activities (think dinner dates, not dance nights) and just be very cautious about my walking. But I might parade them around my apartment a bit just to be sure I'm not being too optimistic!
The Verdict: I think ShoeDazzle is so much fun! They have SO. MANY. SHOES. to choose from! I was scrolling for what felt like forever looking for the perfect shoes to get this month. I picked these purple babies for the sake of holiday party season, but believe me, I've already got some other casual pairs on deck for my next order! I should mention that if I decide in the end that these shoes aren't for me, I can return them for free (I can print a label off of Shoedazzle's site) for a refund or store credit within 30 days. I really like the adventurous silhouettes and colors they offer on ShoeDazzle (though they have plenty of classic crowd-pleasers in there, too). And the quality so far seems right in line with the price!
