ShoeDazzle December 2017 Review
ShoeDazzle had a 50% off sale on their clothing for all VIPs recently that I partook in. I selected three items: a black belted midi dress, bell blue bodysuit with slit sleeves, and a yellow flutter sleeve shift dress:
My order included an invoice listing each item, along with ShoeDazzle’s exchange and return policies.
They included another discount code for Nakedwines.com. I have received a few of these cards in subscription boxes and am tempted to use them for the holidays and Valentine’s Day in a few months!
ShoeDazzle also included a coupon for $30 off of a $60 order. The coupon is valid from 12-1-17 through 1-4-18. I am very confident I will use it before then. It may be the perfect retail therapy for the post-holiday comedown, am I right?
Flutter Sleeve Shift Dress in Yellow Multi, Size 3x — Retail Value $56.95, VIP price $39.95 (VIP Price 50% off Sale Price $19.98)
I am a sucker for a good bell sleeve and yellow anything, so I had to get this dress. The fabric has some stretch, but the cut was slightly boxy so for a further definition, I would suggest pairing with a belt. I love the retro vibe, so I had to pair it with my go-to double buckle western belt, vintage large rim hat, and olive green booties. This would look fantastic with patterned tights and high heeled booties and platform Mary Jane heels. The styling of this dress could make you a Mary Richards or a Rhoda Morgenstern! I just noticed while writing this I wore the dress backward (blame it on the holidaze), but hey, that just gives you more styling options as well, right?
Black Belted Midi Dress, Size 3x – Retail Value $60.95, VIP price $42.95 (VIP Price 50% off Sale Price $21.48)
Ultimate Stevie Nicks dress goals achieved! Thanks, ShoeDazzle! I am not sure when my love for bell sleeves began, but it has hit me hard recently. This dress is made of a thinner material, with some stretch, and it comes with a pleather belt for fit customization and waist definition. I styled this with my tried and true large rim hat, gold booties, and a necklace from my most recent Stitch Fix review. This dress could easily be worn in winter, fall, and early spring which makes it an incredible value! Especially at that 50% off price deal!
Blue Flower Bodysuit with Slit Sleeves, Size 3x – Retail Value $49.95, VIP price $34.95 (VIP Price 50% off Sale Price $17.48)
I was so excited about this bodysuit since it had a similar floral pattern as the yellow dress I purchased in this order. It has a fantastic retro 70s look that I was keen on as well. I was excited… that is until I tried it on. I read on the description there was a slit in the sleeves, but I didn’t know that my whole dang arm would be exposed anytime I fold or move my arms. I am returning this top, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t someone else’s dream top! The pros would be the fabric, there is some stretch in the upper part and the bottom is made of a stretchy blue cotton at the crotch clasps. This bodysuit would look amazing with a tight pair of skinny pants and heels. I am disappointed the sleeve slits were a deal breaker because I love the top’s neckline and color combination.
Verdict: Like the classic rock icon, Meatloaf, once belted out: TWO OUTTA THREE AIN’T BAD! I loved both bell-sleeved dresses in this order. They fit like a dream and the style was exactly what I expected. The slit sleeve top is a bummer, but that does not hinder my love for ShoeDazzle one bit. ShoeDazzle consistently has great promos and I generally find awesome pieces in their plus size offerings. I continue to hope they broaden their plus selections and wide boot and shoe options, but so far I am rather pleased with their services!

Value Breakdown: This order totaled $58.94, but if I ordered these items as a non-VIP I would have paid $167.85. I saved about 65% by catching the VIP half off sale compared to what I would pay full price! THAT IS AN AMAZING VALUE! The VIP Price for all three of these pieces is $117.85, a savings of about 30%.
