I wanted to love you Sephora play! but I’m taking a break for a while. I’m keeping Ipsy and facetory for now until I can use up some of what I already have. Once you have more products than you could possibly use in a lifetime it’s just not as fun anymore. (For me at least) Especially when you buy things only because of FOMO.

I always really like my play box. I’m super over getting black liners…. I literally have a whole allure box filled with them. Pencils and liner pens!!! I rarely use the pens like this one. So literally I’ll never buy one ever again LOL! The pencils, I’m an ex cosmetic trainer so I use them smudged under my shadow as a liner first before I apply my shadow. But I don’t like to use black much around my eyes anymore

Me, either. Black looks so harsh on me because my skin is so light. Plus black liner after a certain age isn’t always flattering. I’ve always used grays, taupes, and navy blues.

Those are good items but bad colors for me. I don’t wear dark eyeshadow or black eyeliner. But I imagine for many people those will be great.
Actually the shadows would probably work for me as eyeliner!

They revealed these items in Beauty Insiders Community In Sephora app on 12/01, I was excited to see the Smashbox eyeshadow.

Hoping for some fun colors then! There’s still 3 other items, hopefully one fragrance and two skincare. As long as I get a moisturizer I can use, I’m good.

I LOVE THIS! I am so sick of all the skincare and non-makeup items. I was about to cancel my box and then I see this. I am extremely excited about the December 2017 box.

Ugh, I wish that spoiler was available before I was billed for this box. I have no use for the makeup.
Liz, could you please suggest to them that a skincare only box would be awesome? I think a lot of people would jump at that option.

Have you tried beautyfix? They are all skin care (it says hair care also but I’ve received 2 boxes now and haven’t gotten any hair care stuff) it’s more expensive but they send a lot of full sized items also! Liz does reviews and spoilers on here if u want to check it out it’s like $36 or $27 a month but so worth it

You may enjoy Dermstore’s BeautyFix then, it is primarily skincare. Even if Sephora had a solely skincare box, the tubes would probably be half full. That was my biggest frustration with the Sephora Play box!

It’s Sephora, so. Yeah. Makeup.

I like a makeup box. Especially if it is new items I haven’t tried.

Michelle, Try BeautyFix. It’s almost always skincare only.

I second BeautyFix! Great skincare products and generous sizes.

I cancelled too .. I love make up samples but from having birchbox, ipsy, FFF and Sephora I just became on sample overload! Finally starting to cancel subscriptions to start using up the samples I have. I got rid of all but Ipsy. I just think, I can always resubscribe.

I thankfully cancelled before being billed. I’m on product overload (especially sample sizes).

This just mentions the two spoilers that were previously announced — it’s missing the new one.

Sorry it wasn’t clear – the new spoiler hint is that all boxes will include 3 makeup items this month.

Hi Liz, I just got the notification email for December clue’s and it looks like there’s also some kind of stick highlighter(?) as a teaser along with the eyeshadow and eyeliner but I can’t tell what brand it is. Just a heads up!

It was clear.
