Graze November 2017

Graze is a mini-snack subscription box that sends a customized selection of treats weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

Graze offers over 100 different snacks that you can rate online, which, over time, helps tailor your subscription to your particular snacking preferences. I spent some time choosing preferences, noting which options I wanted to try, think I would like, or “trash” and prefer not to receive. That being said, your Graze box may look completely different!

For subscribers with food sensitivities, it’s easy to “trash” snacks that contain gluten, dairy, or any other specific ingredient; however, Graze snacks are produced in a facility with nuts, wheat, milk, and many other foods that might not make this subscription a good fit for anyone with severe food allergies.

Onto the snacks!

Graze November 2017 Graze November 2017

Caramel Apple, 0.9 oz. (buy a 6 count for $8.99)

This lil’ treat includes soft dehydrated granny smith apple wedges and rich, creamy caramel sauce. The dipping sauce is super sweet, so this snack is perfect for satiating your need for a dessert. I only wish that there was more! As tasty as this snack is, the light apple slices don’t do much for extreme hunger.

Hickory Smoked BBQ, 1.2 oz. (currently out of stock)

The combination of almonds, barbecue flavored peas, and crunchy roasted corn kernels in this mix was super savory and satisfying. This is a great option if you love crunch! The BBQ flavoring also adds a nice salty-meets-sweet component to this filling snack.

Super Kale and Edamame, 1.2 oz. (buy a 6 count for $8.99)

I love kale and I love edamame, so it’s no surprise that this was one my favorites of the month! The kale chips are baked with cashew butter and have a salty quality while the chia seeds and crunchy edamame beans add some extra texture. The addition of lime balances everything out and adds a nice bite. Love!

Peach and Rhubarb Pick-Me-Up (not available for individual purchase)

Another awesome fruity snack. The rhubarb slices and pear and peach fruit drops make for a not-too-sweet and refreshing combo.

Veggie Protein Power, 0.98 oz. (buy a 6 count for $8.99)

Beans, nuts, and chickpeas = packed with protein. The crunchy edamame and chili broad beans are combined with black pepper cashews to give you that boost of energy you need between breakfast and lunch. I loved the slight spiciness, but the flavor isn’t too strong. Compared to other Graze snacks, this one could be considered a bit bland.

Salted Caramel & Chocolate Cookie, 1.3 oz. (buy a 6 count for $8.99)

Yum! This was the perfect sweet and salty combinations of delightful morsels. Baked salted peanuts, Belgian salted caramel milk chocolate buttons, pumpkin seeds, and amaretti drops make for an indulgent-tasting snack. Get a small piece of each component in your mouth for the perfect cookie bite.

Popping Corn – Lightly Salted, 1 oz. (buy a 6 count for $8.99)

I’ve received popcorn from Graze a few times now, and it’s always a pleasant surprise. It’s great to have a healthy variation (vs. drenched in caramel or butter) on hand for cozy winter movie nights!

Summer Berry Flapjack, 1.8 oz. (buy a 6 count for $8.99)

Ahh, the flapjack: one of my absolutely favorite Graze treats. Graze offers this snack in different flavor profiles (honeycomb, protein, lemon drizzle, etc.), but this berry variation is one of the best. The flapjack snacks are sort of a like a soft granola bar meets bowl of oatmeal. Great option for a quick breakfast!

The Verdict: Graze continues to be a box that I look forward to receiving each month. I loved the variety of sweet and savory.

Value-wise, I received eight snacks for $13.99, making each snack worth $1.75. While it would have been nice to get an extra snack or two, I appreciate the convenience of receiving eight to sample in one shipment — the beauty of this subscription.

  1. I got a bad free sample box. I got expired samples in my box. I got the Thanksgiving deal with the 20% for life 11.19 a box. I’ve never tried this company before and I want again even if it’s free. I cancelled.

  2. I got the free box and cancelled. I got raisins. I checked no raisins. I hate raisins. 1 of the samples didn’t have raisins but had this extremely nasty sulfur feet cheese taste. I might hate cheese now. It made me sick the taste stayed in my mouth for 3 days. Not for me. Maybe to organic or something
