Graze is a mini-snack subscription box that sends a customized selection of treats weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
Graze offers over 100 different snacks that you can rate online, which, over time, helps tailor your subscription to your particular snacking preferences. Some subscribers spend time choosing preferences, noting which options they want to try, think they would like, or "trash" and prefer not to receive. Each Graze box may look completely different!
For subscribers with food sensitivities, it’s easy to "trash" snacks that contain gluten, dairy, or any other specific ingredient; however, Graze snacks are produced in a facility with nuts, wheat, milk, and many other foods that might not make this subscription a good fit for anyone with severe food allergies.
Boxes are shipped via USPS and are conveniently designed to fit in most standard mailboxes.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Graze December 2017 Review
Graze includes this handy pamphlet that lists all of the nutritional values for the month's snacks. And, this time around, they provided a recipe for how to make smoothie bowls—awesome! I often experiment with smoothie recipes, and often they turn out too liquidy or chunky, so I'm looking forward to exploring this smoothie bowl idea.
Also included is a $30 off + free shipping coupon for your first Hello Fresh box. Check out our Hello Fresh reviews to learn more and save $30 off your first box!
And, here they are...the snacks!
Chocolate Pretzel Dippers, 1.0 oz - Buy a 6-count multipack for $8.99
I love receiving dippers from Graze, as they always come up with yummy combos. In this case, pretzels and chocolate is a tried-and-true combo. The only thing that could make this snack better in my eyes is if the pretzels were slightly more salted. Then it'd be perfection!
Deconstructed Carrot Cake, 1.4 oz - Buy a 6-count multipack for $8.99
I like the concept of this snack, but it's way too sweet for my taste. The 'carrot chews' are like candy, the raisins are coated in cinnamon-sugar, and the ginger fudge has a bit of an overwhelming flavor to me. The walnuts don't have a strong enough savory taste to balance out this trail mix's saccharine flavor, so it doesn't strike me as being very healthy in the end.
Garden of England, 0.95 oz. - Buy a 6-count multipack for $8.99
This is the first of two apple-based dried fruit snacks I received this month. It rarely, if ever, appeals to me to eat fruit on its own, but I can see myself adding this apple, blueberry, lingonberry, and cherry combo to my morning muesli or oatmeal. Unlike some other dried fruits out there in the world, this is very soft and chewy, including the blueberries, which in some trail mixes I've had, have been a little crunchy. I like that this mix isn't coated in anything sugary—it's just plain ol' dried fruit, which is sweet enough on its own!
Sweet Rhubarb Jam, 1.1 oz. - Buy a 6-count multipack for $8.99
This is the second dried fruit snack that came in this box, and it's very similar to the last one. Again, I appreciate that there's no added flavoring or sweet coating.
Hickory Smoked BBQ, 1.1 oz - Retail Value $3.99
I'm always a fan of the savory snacks that Graze includes, and this combo of peas, almonds, and roasted corn, flavored with Hickory Smoked BBQ rub, is one of my favorites to date. The crunch of the airy peas and corn mix nicely with the substantiality of the almonds, and the flavor is unique without being overly seasoned. I hope to receive this one again in a future Graze box!
Original Fruity Flapjack, 1.9 oz. - Buy a 6-count multipack for $8.99
Graze was my first ever subscription, and I remember these fruity flapjacks arriving in my introductory box. I received them once since, and each time has been an awesome throwback! They’re filled with dried fruits and seeds and have a faintly sweet flavor that sets them apart from other granola bars. They’re soft and chewy and altogether wonderfully delicious.
The Cheese Board, 0.8 oz. - Buy a 6-count multipack for $8.99
You know by now that I'm a savory snack fan, so this cheesy mixture got me very excited! Not surprisingly, the cheese-dusted cashews and cheese-y croutons have a bit of an artificial flavor to them but mixed with herb crackers, they're very appetizing nonetheless. I don't believe I've ever received a cheese-flavored snack from Graze before, but I could definitely get used to it!
Baobab Raspberry Clusters, 0.8 oz. - Buy a 6-count multipack for $8.99
This dried fruit mix is more crispy than chewy, unlike the others included in my box. The flavor is really nice! The raspberry clusters have a bit of a tart flavor to them, while the pumpkin seeds introduce a mild savory-ness. Add in the apple pieces—the theme of this box, eh?—and this is a delicious superfood snack. Again, one I can see myself adding to oatmeal or muesli moreso than eating it solo.
Verdict: I'm overall happy with the offerings in this December Graze box. When I originally canceled my original Graze subscription, the reason was because I found there to be too many sweet and sugary snacks, but this box proved that they can provide fruity mixes that let the natural sweetness of the fruits take the stage—something I'm finding more and more to be true with Graze's snacks. As for the salty snacks? They're always spot-on and each time I try a new one, I find myself wishing there were more. This box included 8 snacks for $13.99, which breaks down to $1.75 each. That value works for me because of how unique the snacks are, and because even in a box full of surprise treats, I know I'll enjoy many of them.
