I had been subbed to them almost a year and cancelled this month. The items they sent were not very good, then they would send me the same box (one pan) eyeshadow be very couple of months. I didn’t really care forbthe stuff in the box…i wish they would not spend so much money on packaging that just gets thrown away (yes their boxes are nice, but how many do you really need?) Their customer service is awful (was still waiting on the lipstick they sent a few months ago where 99 percent of peoples were broken, and they put lemon a “list” to replace, yet never heard anything back in 3/4 months….it would not be a bad deal paying 10.00 a month, but not 21.00….if they would send better items, and worry less about packaging I would be all in again….maybe, because I don’t Care for customer service that is worthless as this is.

99% sure I’m cancelling…i was sent September of 2016 as my first box and I still haven’t received the correct December box …called them for the second time and she tried to say I already received it and I had to explain myself all over again….then they said it’s gonna be shipped any day…I had emailed 3 times with no response (until I spoke to someone just now and they pulled up my account..then they replied) they didn’t offer anything as a courtesy, like a free gift or partial refund or credit… if I ever had an issue with say, Birchbox…. I was always given credit or something and the correct item would be sent out right away, it’s just the right way to run a business if the consumer is unhappy….I was already charged for January which makes sense because most of my other subs (4 of them) were charged on the 1st too …. now I’m afraid to cancel before getting January’s box because I’m not sure if I’ll even get refunded correctly….ugh not a good experience, i shoulda just stuck to my gut and went with BeautyFix …

The picture of the “Dr. Botanical’s” facial oil does not appear to be a full size version of the product. Their full size is 30ml, or 1 oz. I’m afraid it’s another round of bait and switch. The mascara is left over from their December LE box. I wish we could somehow get our old glossybox back, but I’m afraid that is never going to happen.

WARNING, please do not waste your money! I used to love GlossyBox but they have just gone down hill. I have been dealing with them for over three weeks and they have yet to resolve the issue.

I think many of these boxes send old products. I get a few boxes. Recently in NewBeauty I got a product that when I went to the website they no longer make or sale…. In a recent Walmart box I got press on nails–the coupon inside expired in 2013!!!!!!!!!???

It took me forever to find the Doctor Botanicals Rose Oil ingredients. In case anyone else has sensitive skin or is interested:

Thanks for finding this! I don’t know a lot about ingredients, is there anything in here that’s bad for sensitive skin or should be avoided?

I don’t know about a ton of ingredients, but I try to read up on it. Any fragrance/parfum can be irritating to sensitive skin, as well as alcohols. PEG compounds can help ingredients absorb more easily into he skin, and if you are already sensitive to those ingredients it can make it worse.

Can someone PLEASE help me? Lol I’m new to glossy box and received my box today, except it is NOT the December box! I signed up way before anything selling out…here’s the disturbing part…I’m pretty sure I was sent Septembers 2016 box!! I looked through all the past boxes on their site and the items in this box are the same: monuspa rosewood mist, sesderma classic cleanser and an EMPTY sesderma c-vit serum, Borghese mascara, model launcher brow pencil in taupe, and korres twist eyeshadow….the pamphlet inside says “secret garden” after looking at their website I’m sure it’s sept 2016… what confirms it is that it says under “next months sneak peek” an emite lip & cheek tint and in the description it actually says “POWDERED BLUSH IS SO 2015” before I call them and freak out…. am I crazy? Or is this an old box? HELP!

U can call them. I call all the time and get an answer . Their number is tel:801-252-4631 . Anytime I ever have issues they take care of it very quickly and they answer so that’s a plus

The mascara was a variable item so not everyone received it.

I have yet to receive my December box (first box). I am kind of concerned due to a google search of this company plus the shipping company they use (THG) and they have numerous customer complaints. I really wish I would have researched them before buying a three month subscription. UGH! So far I have attempted to contact CS via email and no luck. I hope if this company folds I can get my money back, but I purchased it through Gilt City so not too sure…

Call their CS phone number! 801-252-4631. You may be on hold for a while, but I always get through eventually. (And I have had to call them MANY times)

Thanks! I have emailed several times and the only response I received was a week ago saying that they would be messaging me with shipping info but they never did and I’ve followed up a few times and haven’t heard a peep.

I have not received my December box either. I’ve emailed and called. I’m glad that December was my last box. There are too many shipping issues, CS issues and I am super disappointed in variations of the products/prices offered in their boxes. Just ship the same thing to everyone or AT LEAST ship items that are of equal value.

I sent them an email last week then 3 days later I got an email with shipment info and then their cs was like “it looks to us like your box has shipped already” … so it’s supposedly on its way even though it still says it’s in Kentucky. Was super happy with them until this month.

I received the same response when I asked why I hadn’t recieved it when their site says they all ship by the 10th. Miraculously I got shipping notice and 2 days later a “it looks like your box shipped already!”. Ridiculous. I have had to contact customer service every flippin month and I was only a subscriber for 3 months! THey lost my initial subscription, then they cancelled a box on me and then they couldn’t even get the shipping right on the third box. I’m done. I subscribe to ipsy and boxycharm and both are fantastic, especially boxycharm.

I received the lumene eye stuff in the Allure best of box I think and it doesn’t work at all and the. Consistency is so watery! Also that mascara was. In the LE holiday box I think, I couldn’t get one so I’m excited to try it out, I hope it works good, I am very picky about my mascara so here’s hoping for no clumps I do like buxom so..
And as far as the dr Botanicals ive never heard of that brand?! Guess I need to do some goggling!

I really do think Glossybox has been knocking it out of the park since October with their beauty boxes. They had some shady offers in November on a Rituals bath set and than just canceled everyone’s orders. I was kind of miffed about that.
I have way too many products now and need to use up some before I think about buying more, I was getting Sephora. Boxycharm, Glossybox and Allure. It was a hard choice but I let Sephora and Glossybox go. Sephora because I keep getting repeats and the samples are so small. I let Glossybox go instead of boxycharm mainly because of customer service. I will probably also let boxycharm go. How many make-up palettes do you really need? My friend used a 3 eyeshadow palette down to the pan and it took her 1.5 years, of everyday use. Lipsticks are the same way. I love make-up but I just can’t really justify spending money on products I will never use.

I’m in the same boat with letting a few go. I’m in total overload. I dropped Birchbox and ipsy already. Most likely dropping Sephora very soon. I want to drop boxy because I really don’t need anymore shadow palettes and have found that I either hate or can’t use at least half of their variable items…how many shades of brown do lipsticks come in anyway? I haven’t cancelled cause I know as soon as I do they’ll have something awesome and I’ll be waitlisted. I guess logic would be that I could buy w/e with the $ I’m saving each month. As for glossy I’m on the fence, but if their CS is gonna be like look fantastic’s (worst EVER!) then I’m gone.

LOL @ the palettes. I have 22 eye palates and 6 face palettes that I haven’t given away or aren’t ready to be swapped (started collecting 4 months ago), never panned one, I’m addicted to collecting them more than using them BC I rarely have time to actually do anything fun with them and have no time to go anywhere or date haha!! So my answer is…. “You can NEVER have enough palettes!” 😋
