Now, on to the items!
ANDALOU NATURALS Kukui Cocoa Nourishing Body Butter – 50 ml Value $2.96
I can always use more body creams/hand creams in the dry winter months, and this one is fab! It’s rich and takes a little time to absorb, but it isn’t greasy at all, and it has a light, natural, and sweet scent.
Z SKIN COSMETICS Age Defying Hydroxy Face Mask – 1 oz Value $17
This mask is designed to help diminish the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and dark marks. You leave it on for 20 minutes, (it mostly dries), then remove. I liked how smooth my skin felt after using it, and there was little to no irritation.
MINDFUL SKINCARE Anti-Aging Eye Serum – FULL SIZE! Value $49
Yay for full-size skincare! This anti-aging serum is a lightweight cream that absorbs almost instantly and feels hydrating. It’s designed to fight fine lines and wrinkles, and hydrate the delicate skin around your eyes. I’m hoping to see some results with this serum since I have a full-size container that should last over a month!
ANDRELLE’S NATURAL SKIN CARE Rose + Lavender Brightening Toner – 1 oz Value $10
This toner is made with just a few simple ingredients: Rose Water, Lavender Water, St. John’s Wart Extract, and Orange Essential Oil. Usually Lavender tends to overpower other scents in natural beauty products, but the Orange Essential Oil is what stood out to me and I love it!
Modicum Essential Cleanser – 10 ml Value $9.33
This cleanser is made with natural and organic ingredients, including one of my all-time favorite ingredients – basil!
In addition to smelling lovely, the cleanser was gentle and didn’t dry out my skin.
Modicum Essential Exfoliant – 10 ml Value $6
This scrub pairs well with the cleanser (or make a paste with a little water.) The exfoliant particles are super fine, too – again very gentle on my skin!
ILA SPA Body Wash for Toning Skin – 50 ml Value $4.08
ILA is one of those high-end natural beauty brands I see on Net-A-Porter, so I was super excited to see it in this box! The natural scent is strong and I’m a fan (but my husband Eric isn’t), so I’m guessing this scent won’t be for everyone. The formula is great, though, it cleanses without drying out your skin.
Milk chocolate, a dash of sea salt, and crunchy toffee bits? This sounds like the perfect candy bar!
And toffee is one of Eric’s favorite candy flavors, so he claimed this immediately!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $102.37. That’s great for a $35 all-natural beauty and spa box. This is one of the highest-value Yuzen boxes I’ve seen in a while, and I think they did a great job including so many high-end skincare items in this box! (Plus you can’t go wrong with a chocolate bar, right?)
What do you think of the Winter 2017 Yuzen box? What is your favorite item?
