When I signed up for this service, I took a pretty lengthy quiz in which I indicated my price, size and style preferences. It looks like they have done away with listing your preferences on this sheet, but there is an area where they print any notes you have sent to your stylist for this shipment. The only thing printed here is my Pinterest style board, and it looks like I have not updated my preferences in quite a while! In any case, I would expect what I receive to be reflective of my tastes, and for these boxes to vary quite a bit from subscriber to subscriber. There is also a note from my stylist, Christina. It explains why she chose the items she picked for me.
This is the invoice for the items they sent me this month. On the right, it shows my cost to keep each item. The total comes to $536.50. If I keep everything, I get 20% off, plus I get my $20 styling fee deducted. That means a potential discount of $127.30. That's a deep discount!
Morgan Dress by Timing - Cost to Keep $39 (on sale from $49!)
This spandex dress is just too body conscious for my tastes. I really like the cold shoulder look with this print, but the material is just so thin and stretchy. Not even Spanx can make this work for me, I'm afraid.
Schiffer Button Down by Lysse - Cost to Keep $118
Of all the button-down tops with chest pockets I have ever tried on, this is the most flattering. It's very pretty, and my husband actually likes it a lot! It's a thick poly spandex blend, so it should be nice for the cooler months. The price is a little high, or this would be a sure win.
Thompson Tomboy Light Wash Jeans by Vigoss - Cost to Keep $74
These jeans are so cute! They have a low spandex content, so they hold their shape and structure really well. The waist sits a little low for my tastes, but otherwise, they're adorable!
Double Bell Sleeve Blouse by Lauren Helena - Cost to Keep $68
This chiffon top is gorgeous for the holidays! I love the color! It's a little sheer, but not transparent at all. The sleeves are so elegant and beautiful!
Detailed Legging by DEX - Cost to Keep $60
These poly/spandex blend leggings are, I think, what you would call "motorcycle" leggings.
They have geometrical areas with this striped texture as shown in the picture above. They are really comfortable, yet supportive. I like them!
Embroidered Drop Needle Top by Lucky Brand - Cost to Keep $69.50
Oh, how I love Lucky Brand! Nearly everything I try from them fits well and has the boho aesthetic I adore. This beautiful top is no exception! It's a lightweight, flowy cotton, and the detail along the neckline has clear embedded sequins for a bit of subtle bling. I love the pattern and color as well.
Toothpick Denim Indogo Jeggings by Lysse - Cost to Keep $108
Lysse makes the very best pants and leggings for plus size women, in my opinion, so I was thrilled to try these super dark wash jeggings from them! Their pants have compression that is nothing short of miraculous! Yet somehow, they are not uncomfortable, and in fact are super soft. The secret is a proprietary fabric blend. The quality is quite high. All of this means a pretty high price tag for jeggings, but I think the results are worth it.
The Verdict: I really love my Wantable Style Edit! This month was a mixture of hits and misses, but I think this was one of my better boxes from Wantable recently. The only thing I really didn't like was the dress, and nearly everything else was great! I feel like, in terms of cost and value, Wantable sends a good mix of inexpensive and pricier pieces. I also love that they send seven pieces! It's so fun!
