Each box comes with a booklet detailing the month’s products, prices, and brands. Art of Organics’ theme this month was “Moonbeam” and featured two full-size products.

Clean Beauty Moonbeam December 2017 Mask

Kahina Giving Beauty Moisture Mask (1.6 oz.) – Retail Value $88.00

If your skin is getting terribly dry like mine now that the cold weather has arrived this mask will be a godsend. Spread it generously on your freshly cleaned face and leave on for 15 minutes. Then you can either remove the excess or do as I did, leave on overnight for an intensely moisturizing night treatment. My skin felt plumped up and fully hydrated and had none of the flakiness or redness that was there before treatment.

Clean Beauty Moonbeam December 2017 Serum

Luna Nectar Moon Boost (.14 oz.) – Retail Value $75.00

Luna Nectar Moon Boost is a brow and lash growing serum. This is an alternative to lash extensions or hormone-based serums. It’s made with oil and extracts meant to promote hair growth. I haven’t been using it long enough to know if the results will be as promised, but I will stick with it. I am excited to see such a fun, new (and expensive) product to try which I wouldn’t normally have purchased on my own. Have you tried this before? If so I’d love to hear about your results!

Verdict: Clean Beauty Box sends high-end full-size products, has amazing customer service and beautiful packaging, what more can you ask for? If you are an ingredient-conscious consumer and enjoy experiencing the latest in skincare I can’t recommend this box enough. Plus the $163 value this month is more than quadruple the cost of the box ($39 a month)!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, as of publication, this box was still available!

Value Breakdown: At $39 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  1. I couldn’t help myself… I had to order this box! I ordered Wednesday and it arrived today (Friday) – 2 days later! So excited.

  2. AoO just keeps getting better 🙂 I love this month’s items. The mask is amazing. Whenever I use it, my dry, sensitive, and angry-just-in-general skin calms down. It is a magic mask… I was looking for a natural lash serum to replace latisse, so super excited to try the moon boost!

  3. I sub with their BF deal and got my Nov box today! I am thrilled with it and can’t wait for the Dec box!!!! So happy I subscribed! Plus they write about the artist who designs the pretty art. I just love it all!

    • Lucky. 🙂 I re-subscribed with their BF deal, hoping the November box would be my first box (that was the Skin Owl one, right?), but I haven’t received any shipping notifications from them, so I’m assuming this will be my first box with them. Not bad! Seeing these products in my 1st box is really exciting.

    • Enjoy your subscription! 😊

  4. Wow. These are some serious prices for unknown brands and uninspiring packaging.

    • Kahina has been in Beauty Heroes, MINTD, Petit Vour and even a Net-a-Porter box and I’ve seen good reviews by some “green” bloggers, but I read way too much about beauty products!

I prefer that companies not put too much money into pretty packaging but that being said, these prices are a little high for me (not having researched the cost of their ingredients), but that’s why it’s so nice to get them at such a discount in these boxes. 🙂

      • Oops! Ignore my double post… my first one wasn’t showing up and I thought my iPad was to blame!

      • I have used the Kahina body serum and beldi soap and they are fantastic!

    • Kahina has been in Beauty Heroes, MINTD, Petit Vour and even a Net-a-Porter box. I’ve also seen good reviews for it by “green” bloggers.
(But I read too much about beauty products!)

I prefer that companies don’t spend TOO much on pretty packaging since I’d rather be able to afford nice formulas. That being said, these are both a little pricey for me (not having researched the cost of their ingredients at all so I’m not saying they’re not worth it), so it’s nice to get to try products at discounted prices in these boxes!

    • I love their packaging featuring new artists each month!

    • Emilia, I don’t think they’re unknown brands. In fact, they’re quite well known in the green beauty space

  5. Ack! Want!!!

  6. Must resist…but thats an awesome box.

  7. I’m about to finish the mask I received in Sep (which is so good), so this mask is just in time! I don’t have any eye brows so the serum would be fun to try out. So far I love everything from Art of Organics, plus they ship so fast! I guess I gotta renew (maybe annual this time) once my subscription is due.

  8. My Goodness. The savings on this box are unbelievable. Great job AoO!

Would definitely consider this sub if they would figure out how to end the $10 shipping charge for AK & HI.
