Isabel Marant Guru Earrings - Retail Value $120.00, Member Price $84.00

I like tassels in jewelry, so I was curious to try these earrings out. I'm also bad at wearing bright colors, so these rainbow strands seemed like they'd be a welcome pop of color in my otherwise gray, black, white, and denim wardrobe. I liked the shape, too—the earrings are essentially hoops that have tassels danging down off of them. They're super easy to wear and delightfully noticeable without making too big a statement. My only qualm was that the one earring's tassel threads were stuck in a little kicked-out position!

Chanel CC Logo Cutout Cuff - Retail Value $850.00, Member Price $650.00

I'm not usually a logo gal, but I did like the big, blingy nature of this cuff bracelet, so I decided to try it. I love the yellowy tone of the gold and the cutout style—it makes this heavy piece look slightly less overwhelming. It fit just a wee bit tightly and it's not adjustable, which is a bummer. But those CCs are classic. If you're into logos like this, there are a TON of logo-centric picks in the Switch catalog!

Also, I can't believe that I just wore an $850.00 piece of jewelry. Or that I even had access to it! That's basically rent for me! It's all so very glamorous... More glamorous than my gray sweater and jeans has ever experienced...

Faris Drape Earrings - Retail Value $225.00, Member Price $210.00

Can you hear that? That's the sound of my heart beating like wild. Because I am in LOVE with these earrings!!! Dazzling, metallic, abstract, full of movement and organic vibes, but still sleek, modern, and minimalist. UGH. They are too perfect! Plus, they're a dream to wear. Each metal piece is pretty darn thin, so they don't weight a ton. The way the bottom circles dangle and twinkle against the metal of the top panel—they're just so me!

The Verdict: I was pretty happy with this Switch order! I liked each piece, and I obviously loved the quality of everything. And that last pair of earrings? Whew. I feel like getting the chance to trial run those earrings was worth the whole subscription price! As I mentioned in the review, this subscription definitely feels like it's going for a specific "designer" aesthetic, meaning lots of more avant-garde, sophisticated pieces, or else a bunch of logo-centric styles. If that's your vibe, then I feel like this subscription will be a LOT of fun for you!

At $69.00 for three pieces, this service is pricier than Rocksbox (which offers mid-range designer jewelry) but less than Rent the Runway (which offers designer jewelry, accessories, and clothes, too). But these also seem to be higher-end pieces, so I think the cost is worth what you're getting access to.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? This exact box? Well, once I return these pieces, they'll be available again, haha! You can, however, always sign up and shop the oodles of other earrings, necklaces, and bracelets they offer!

Value Breakdown: These three pieces cost $69.00 to rent, which is a great deal if it works for your budget and needs. (To rent just one piece per month is $29.00, so you're saving about $6.00 per piece.) To buy them at retail, these items would cost $1,195.00 in total.

Also, the member price for all of the pieces is $944.00 in total. But remember, you get $10.00 off because you're a member! So that's $934.00 to buy everything. You're saving $261.00 in total (with your member discount)!

Hold the tassel earrings over boiling water and they will straighten right out. A steamer might work too. I make them w nice silk thread, works like a charm.

Good call, Ann! I might have to give that a try. I’m always a little nervous to try and mess with such high-end pieces, but you’re right – nice thread like this should be able to hold up to a little steam!

Thanks for the suggestion!

I was not expecting the second pair of earrings to be so big when I saw them alone in the photo!

They work with your hair length, I think.
