Now, on to the items!

So Susan Cosmetics Buffing Brush - Value $24.95

I have a few other So Susan brushes thanks to this subscription, and they are quality tools!

This buffing brush is made of dense, soft, synthetic bristles, and is great for applying mineral/powder makeup.

Trifle Cosmetics Magic Frosting - Value $34.00

This is a highly pigmented and shimmery liquid highlighter that blends out beautifully. (You could also mix a drop of this in with your liquid foundation if you want more of a glowy finish.)

My only issue with this is the applicator. The formula is too thick for a dropper. This really should have been in a squeezable tube.

Jelly Pong Pong The Super Matte in “Awesome” - Value $22.00

This is a highly pigmented matte lipstick crayon with impressive staying power. It has a fruity scent, too! (Swatched in lower photo.)

Bellapierre Brow Powder in “Noir” - Value $15.00

This is a dark black powder - way too dark for my brows, but it should work well as a black eyeshadow. The pigment is excellent!

Here it is swatched beneath the lip crayon and the highlighter:

And each So Susan Lip Love comes with a new makeup bag:

Limited Edition Makeup Bag - Value $12

Super cute city print!

The bag is made of a spill-proof vinyl material with a fabric lining.

Verdict: This month's So Susan Lip Love bag has a value of about $107.95! I think that value is fantastic for a $21 ingredient-conscious makeup subscription box.

If you are looking for a vegan, ingredient-conscious makeup subscription, I can't recommend this one enough. The value is great, the formulas are great, and the bonus bag is always super cute!

While not a bad bag, per se, it pushed me over the edge to cancel. I am on shimmery highlighter overload in all forms — powders, creams and liquids — and that seems to be a staple item from them almost every month. I’ve cut my beauty subs to Boxycharm and Sephora so I can start working my way through backlogged product.

I was about to sign up for this and Look Fantastic too. I’ve decided that by December I really need to drop more subscription boxes due to surplus products.

Liz maybe you can find a place where readers can donate some of these unused items, I’ve wondered if Dress for Suceess would want skin care, makeup and perfume samples to help women entering the work force as I know I can’t use everything that I’ve accumulated.

This is a very disappointing month maybe not value wise but certainly product wise! So glad my sub is up! Think I’m gonna wait for spoilers from now on then get that month if I like the products. I usually love this sub but the past 3 months or so have been disappointing I hope it gets better!

I love the highlighter! I love the graphics of the bag, but not the phrase. There have been a few bags that I’ve felt the same way about — and some bags that the graphics were just ok, but I loved what they said, like “Be More Of Who You Are”
