ShoeDazzle is a monthly shoe, clothing, and accessories subscription service. You can shop their merchandise like normal retail, but they have a VIP subscription that gives you better prices – many styles are only $39.95 (or less) for VIPs. When you sign up for a membership, you complete a style profile. On the 1st of every month, they release new styles, and you can pick any item you want – either from your personal “Showroom” or across the site. You can also skip the month. However, if you don’t pick or skip, you get charged $39.95 store credit to spend any time.

This model is similar to how JustFabFabletics, and AdoreMe work. JustFab and Shoedazzle are under the same umbrella company, actually. Surprisingly enough, the shoes I ordered on Shoedazzle came in a JustFab box!

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes)

Jacinta Bootie in Midnight Blue, Size 8 – Retail Value $59.95, VIP Price $39.95 (currently on VIP sale for $19.98)

Oh my gosh. Oh. My. Gosh. These SHOES! I am in love, folks. I didn’t have any specific style that I was looking for this month (I didn’t have an event to shop for or anything…), so I wasn’t sure what to pick from Shoedazzle‘s vast catalog. Did I want another pair of high boots? Maybe some nice heels to wear through holiday party season? Sneakers for every day? I scrolled, I scrolled, and I scrolled. And then. BOOM. I was so excited—these shoes were practically glowing at me there on the page. I’ve been so eager to get in on the velvet trend, but I haven’t found quite the right piece to get me started. But these sapphire-blue ankle boots with their embroidered silvery stars… ugh, they are EVERYTHING!

Better yet, they’re comfortable!!! The block heels make them easy to stomp around in. They fit a bit tighter than I was expecting, but generally in a nice, secure way. (I didn’t feel suffocated in them.) The area around the ball of my foot was a bit snug—hopefully, they’ll stretch out a bit as I wear ’em around.

Also, the fabric is great. I’ve learned that there’s a wide range of what people are willing to call “velvet”, from crinkly, stiff fabrics that are somewhat unpleasant to touch to luxurious, deliciously soft pieces. These boots, I’m happy to report, are on the latter end of the spectrum. They’re plush and pretty, and as lovely to pet as they are to look at. I’m wild about the bright silver embroidery (and the sheer fact that they’re embroidered rather than printed or just kind of stuck on there). So cool!

I will say that the sole feels a bit on the thin side, which is an issue I faced with the boots in my last order, too. I found that a set of cushy insoles from the drugstore were an easy fix for those shoes, and I’m sure the same will go for these guys. Though I’d probably tough out a bit of discomfort for the joy of wearing these space-age boots.

The Verdict: I am SO happy with this month’s ShoeDazzle purchase! The only thing that threw me was having them arrive in a JustFab box—they’re operated by the same folks, but I definitely did a “wait… did I order from JustFab by accident?” moment. That’s barely a concern though, especially once I put these amazing boots on my feet. They have so much personality! And that personality matches mine to a T. I’m thrilled with the feel of the fabric and the way they fit, too. I’ll have to wear them a bit to loosen up the tight toe, but that’s not a problem—I don’t want to take these bad boys off!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? It looks like this style is still around as of writing this review, but act fast! Sometimes sizes can sell out!

Coupon – Get your first style for $10.00! No code need, just use this link!

Value Breakdown: The retail value of these (amazing) boots is $59.95, but I paid just $39.95 (+ free shipping) for them. That means I saved 33% on this super cool pair of shoes!

What was your ShoeDazzle pick this month?

  1. I LOVE these boots! Thank you for sharing your amazing style.

  2. Curious but it says shoedazzle but the box says just fab. Did I miss something?

    • Those are def JustFab, these boots are featured online for sale

    • It’s confusing, right? I definitely ordered these via my Shoedazzle subscription (I don’t have a JustFab sub, so no switcheroo there…), but because Shoedazzle and JustFab exist under the same umbrella company, they must sometimes draw inventory from the same place.

Here are the boots via the Shoedazzle site, just FYI:

It’s probably good to know that there’s some crossover, just in case you’re considering subscribing to both!

Hope that’s helpful. I know it’s weird to see another subscription’s brand name on a box, haha!

  3. Love your pick, I’m on my third pair of boots from them! I love every one of them! I also bought some gel insoles for one pair of the boots, but the other two are good to go. Plus the sale they just had, I got another pair of boots, 2 sweaters, and a dress for around 85! They just came, I’m totally in love with everything! Love ShoeDazzle!

  4. When I first saw the boots, I thought this was Nicole’s review! Lol

    • Lol me too!
