AH

I am really pretty upset right now. I’m on a very tight budget, and I only have a Sephora inside JCPenney nearby. They had none of the items I was interested in. The items I wanted, including a Favorites kit, were sold out online by the time I had the $. I called the closest real Sephora to see if they had the items in store and they had one of the kits I really wanted. They couldn’t let me purchase over the phone, but they put items on hold through Saturday. My experience in store is its own complaint as the associates were so rude that my excitement to be in a real store completely dissipated and I didn’t want to even look around. I had to borrow a car just to get to this Sephora over a hour away. And I did this just last night. My total was $168 (included a return, a birthday gift card, and my own $) so the 15% off is substantial enough that I could get the last item I wanted. Since I can’t borrow the car again, I called Customer service. I didn’t want a refund to my card, I wanted store credit so I could spend even more online. The rep said he was going to try for that, puts me on hold, and comes back with nope can’t do it, let me give you some points. I got a lousy 200 points. I would have pushed off going until today or tomorrow if I had known this sale was happening now, I thought it would be later in the month, and I’ve honestly been trying to get my items for almost a month anyways. Quite frankly, I expect things to go wrong and be difficult all the time, so when they actually go right, I’m pleasantly surprised. Sigh. First world problems.

Yeah, I had everything I wanted sitting in my shopping cart for a few days. It all sold out before this sale even started.

Oh well, I guess it’s really geared towards vib rouge since they seem to get first dibs on everything.
