Scentbird for Men Subscription Review + Coupon – October 2017

This post may contain referral/affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

Scentbird is a cologne subscription for women and men where you choose one fragrance per month. They offer a variety of authentic designer scents and allow you to narrow down by either traditional categories for notes (e.g., citrusy, woodsy, spicy, etc.) or more general descriptive terms (e.g., casual, workout, going out). Subscribers also receive a monthly discount code that can be used on full-size bottles of perfume or cologne from the Scentbird shop.

Scentbird always sends a preview card that features the following month’s feature fragrance – For November, the featured scent is TERRA, by Vince Camuto. The scent’s notes are Bergamot, Geranium, Vanilla, and Sandalwood, all of which sound nice and pretty fresh – I think I may add this scent for an upcoming delivery!

Now let’s take a look at the scent  I chose to receive for October!

Homme by Vince Camuto, 8ml – Estimated Value $3.98 (buy a 3.4 oz bottle for $49.99 on FragranceNet)

This cologne is described as a combination of woodsy with notes of cedar and pine, with touches of lavender and juniper, which all really come through. I normally tend to stick with more woodsy scents, but the the lavender really pushes through most here, making this a more a more “fruity” scent than I’m used to. This isn’t a bad thing, but something that I wouldn’t normally purchase at a store in a full-size bottle.  I don’t think this will be my go-to everyday cologne, but a more special occasion when I’m want something a little more crisp, fresh and fruity!

Verdict: This was my second experience using Scentbird and overall I’m pretty impressed! I picked a less expensive cologne this month, so the value received is about 1/4 of the cost of the subscription. This doesn’t bother me as I’m quite happy with the scent and happy to expand my cologne collection.
