JustFab has had a monthly VIP club for years now, and I love their styles. So I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try out their brand new styling service, PS by JustFab (PS stands for Personal Stylist)!
It works like many other styling services, such as Stitch Fix, Trunk Club, and Dia & Co. You pay a styling fee and receive five pieces selected for you by your stylist. You only keep what you like and return the rest with free shipping both ways. The styling fee is deducted from any purchases you make, and if you keep everything you get 20% off the total!
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out our review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Box: PS by JustFab
The Cost: $20 styling fee, deducted from the cost of items you keep
The Products: Five clothing items selected for you by a stylist
Ships to: U.S. for free (both ways!)
Good to know: This is not an automatic monthly subscription. You can order a box whenever you want!

When I signed up, I took a lengthy quiz to let my stylist know my size and style preferences. A few days later, I received this email alerting me that my stylist had chosen some items for me. I could just click the link and preview my package.
There are some styling services that allow you to preview your package and reject items you don't like before they are sent to you, but this was a first. With PS by JustFab, I could keep the choices my stylist made for me, or if I didn't like something, I could swap it with an item on my JustFab wishlist! And of course, since I am a JustFab VIP, I had tons of items on my wishlist!
This is a note from my stylist, Crystal. She mentions some sizing issues from last month, but I don't recall having sizing problems last month particularly. This month is a different story...
This is the invoice that was sent with my package, showing the cost to keep each item. My $20 styling fee is applied to anything I keep, but if I keep everything, I get a 20% discount.
Mock Neck Bodycon Dress - Cost to Keep $39.95
This is a beautiful color and lace pattern, but I'm afraid it's just too bodycon (and too short!) for me. It seems pretty well made, and the price is quite reasonable for what it is. I think this would look gorgeous on the right figure.
Faux Fur Jacket - Cost to Keep $59.95
I love this faux fur coat! It's so elegant and beautiful! I am such a sucker for faux fur. The only issue I have with this - and other faux fur jackets - is that it's only cold enough here in Georgia to wear this for about six days all winter. Would those six days make it worth it?
Off Shoulder Sweater Dress - Cost to Keep $42.95
This is a knit poly blend dress with a ribbed skirt and an asymmetrical top. I am not wild about it anyway, but they also sent it in the wrong size. So, it's kind of tight and the overall fit is not good. I don't think I like it enough to exchange for the correct size.
Bell Sleeve Knit Tunic - Cost to Keep $19.95
I love this top! It's a poly blend knit, but it's got a waffle pattern in the fabric (like thermal underwear). It's so unique! I love unique pieces. I've never seen anything quite like it! The sleeves are a bit long, but I think they would look fine pushed up a bit.
Booty Lifter Bootcut Jeans - Cost to Keep $39.95
I have mentioned this in other reviews, but one thing about having short legs is that it's really hard to find bootcut jeans that flare in the right place. These are too long, obviously, but they wouldn't work if they were hemmed for this reason. These are a cotton/poly/spandex blend. I didn't feel like they had extraordinary booty lifting power, but they definitely helped some.
Cable Stitch V-Neck Sweater - Cost to Keep $24.95
This sweater is fabulous! It's an acrylic knit, but it feels really soft and not too bulky like some sweaters. I love the color! It's also a good length and cut for me.
Embroidered Signature Skinny - Cost to Keep $39.95
The embroidery on these stretchy, high spandex content jeans is really pretty! I love embroidery! I just bought some embroidered jeans from Stitch Fix, though, and I'm not sure I need another pair.
Faux Shearling Wrap Coat - Cost to Keep $54.95
I like the idea of this coat a lot, but unfortunately, this was sent to me in the wrong size also. This coat seems to run a little big, so it's not as bad as it could be, but it's still a little disappointing. I would have liked to see how this looks in the right size.
The Verdict: I am really enjoying my subscription to PS by JustFab! That being said, this was not my favorite month. I plan to contact my stylist and see why I was sent two pieces in the wrong size. I'm sure it was just an honest mistake, but it's impossible to keep everything and get the 20% discount if two pieces are the wrong size. Otherwise, it was a mixture of hits and misses as usual. I really liked the tunic and sweater! I also think that JustFab's prices are very reasonable in general.
What do you think of PS by JustFab? Have you tried them yet?
