I wanted box #957 and I got #005 instead. Oh well, at least no dry shampoo. I actually don’t mind the red lipstick…nudes really wash me out. I’ve also wanted a Caudalie essence for a while and it has glycolic acid, which something I wouldn’t mind trying. Origins products are cool too, but I didn’t really want another charcoal mask because I still haven’t used up the Boscia one I got in August. I don’t really care that much about mascara…I have a bunch. I just wanted the Moroccan oil. And I wouldn’t have minded the Perricone and Farmacy samples. But maybe Mistress will work out for me, you never know. I’m generally pretty happy with Sephora Play.

I have 957 and would have loved your version(box 005). Would anyone like to swap/trade. I’ll ship for free and provide a shipping label to you. Let me know…

Yay (rolling my eyes) it’s red lipstick season in almost every box. Don’t get me wrong , I wish I could pull off a bold red lip. But I end up feeling like I look like Ronald McDonald . My lips are to big and uneven. Through the years and countless subs , I have a very large collection of different shades and brands of reds lipsticks.

I agree! I ended up with the nude thankfully but I hate getting all of the red lipstick samples. It’s a bold look that not everyone can pull off.. According to my skin tone I’m supposed to be able to but it just looks silly 🙃

Not happy at all. So disappointed.

Yes! I’ve been wanting the Caudalie Essence and the Origins. I’ll use the hair balm as well. Would’ve used the nude lippie more than a red, but I have so many nude lippies so I’m good. I’ll switch it up for the holidays and step out of my comfort zone. A classic red is perfect for that. This is my favorite box so far! Yay!

I don’t wear red lipstick at all. I was hoping to try the lip gel. I wear lip gloss almost daily. Other than that I’m happy with the box. I think my daughter is sick of me giving her all my red lipstick samples.

I don’t normally wear bold lip colors, but I’m excited to get a chance to try a red risk free for the holidays. I’m up to my eyeballs in neutral pinks and nudes so I really don’t mind getting something out of my comfort zone. That’s half the reason for these inexpensive boxes!

I think this is the worst sephora month ever!

This is def my worst one.
I’m not sure they follow our profiles AT ALL anymore. I have dry aging skin and I get a charcoal mask?? Blonde, fair skinned..a bright red lip? And I think the whole essence thing is nothing more than a gimmick. Its literally a toner, lets just call it that!
The mascara I will try, and the hair mask I have never heard of. Last month wasn’t bad for me even tho they’re were repeats. But the last 6 or so boxes have been generally crappy for me.
Next month will be my last one. Its just not worth even the $10 anymore if I am only trying 1 or 2 products. I wish they would include more makeup other than a lip or mascara all the time. My first boxes had powder and eyeshadow samples. That’s been over a year now.
Oh well hopefully someone else enjoys theirs!
