Each box includes an info card telling you about the featured item and how what they chose to send you helps your house be “greener”! This month’s featured items are two reusable sandwich and snack bags. The DIY recipe for this month is healthy banana oat bar.
Green and White Stripe Sandwich Bag - Retail Value $7.99
This particular design was not found on Mighty Fix but there are a variety of designs to choose from. This fits your standard size sandwich. The dimensions are 6.5”x6.5”. Both bags are top dishwasher safe, can be washed by hand with warm water and soap, made of 62.5%polyester, 32.5%cotton, and 5%polyurethane with a velcro closure. These products comply with FDA standards for food safety, they are BPA, phthalates, and lead-free. The bags replace 500 plastic bags in a lifetime. I have stopped using plastic sandwich bags and have one sandwich container I use, so I’m pleased to receive this sandwich bag.
Green Polka Dot Snack Bag - Retail Value $6.99
This design was not found on the Mighty Fix website but there are a variety of designs to choose from. This snack size bag fits, nuts, grapes, candies, baby carrots, and any bite-sized foods. The dimensions are 3.5”x6.5”. I can’t believe how I used to purchase the snack Ziploc bags. I’m slowly removing my kitchen storage of Ziploc Bags, with the help of my Mighty Fix subscription I will be Ziploc free in no time.
Verdict: This was a useful Mighty Fix and the value of the two reusable bags are $14.98. This is a little above the cost of the $10.00 subscription. I’m always excited to see which environmental friendly products I will receive and each month I’m blown away by the usefulness and creativity of the products. This has been my favorite Mighty Fix product. I am impressed with the quality of products I receive and pleased that I’m helping the environment and not being wasteful.
