Of course as soon as I cancel, the very next month they have a box I actually want.

I am sooooo frustrated with Macy’s customer service. This is the 3rd time I have called the 800 number on the web-site for the beauty subscription and they have NO CLUE what this box is. After talking to 2 people for over an hour (one said he was the supervisor) I was told they can’t look at our acct as to why we didn’t get a box, if we will get a box, or if I am still a subscriber! I truly believe Macy’s will be out of business VERY soon. Such poor communication. Not to mention I was on hold for 30 nmin before I even got to talk to the person who has no clue as to what I am talking about. BEWARE! If you ever have a billing problem……..Good Luck, you are own your own!!!!!!!

Yup…I just had a similar experience with Macy’s “customer service.” My box didn’t include the Nudestix. 🙁

Try the customer service email through the website. It’s better, though it will take them a few days to respond.

Thanks! I will do that!
I just received the Dec box and my tory burch sample is missing. I can’t believe this. Guess I’m having rotten luck. I am still so bummed I never received the Nov box.

I guess I’m the only one, but I don’t like the bag. I just don’t like lettering or phrases on the bags, wish it was just the floral pattern.

I agree – I like the look of the bags, but could really do without the lettering. That goes for pretty much ANY beauty bag!

I think this is the best box they’ve done so far!! Everything here is either something I haven’t tried before or want to. No non-luxury sub box has EVER put Chanel in a box. Ever. I’m so excited to get this! Plus, that bag is stunning!! Standing O for Macy’s!

Exactly! Thank you 👏🏻 The Macy’s hate is getting old. I think Macy’s is doing a GREAT job in comparison to other subscription boxes. And like you mention, CHANEL. Enough said. I’m giving the subscription a go.

I never hated the Macy’s beauty box unlike most others on here, but honestly, the Chanel item is a hand cream – how excited can I possibly be about something like that in a beauty box??
Allure is doing a Dior mascara in December – that’s a far better way to do it.
Vanessa
I absolutely love the bags in this box! I loved the $10 code last time and wish they’d keep it at $10!!!!!
Love the Chanel hand cream sample!
I wish they’d do perfume minis!!!
I’m really just in it for the bag and coupon…

ooooh…..Macy’s bag is looking good. Chanel!! I have a question for anyone, can the $5 cards ok to combine to purchase items? Do they expire?

Lady at the Mac counter let me use both coupons. I think it all depends on who it is.

However, you can use each coupon twice – once by entering the code from the front online and the second time by having a sales associate scan the bar code on the back.

Furthermore, as I discovered at Macy’s today when they have 15% off on all beauty, you can get both the sale discount and use your promo card. Online it would have to be either /or, since you can only enter one code.
The advantage of beauty shopping on the Macy’s website, however, is the multitude of promotions and gifts with purchase they constantly have going on there – they don’t have nearly as much in the stores. I asked the lady at the Clinique counter today, and she was not aware of a GWP literally earlier this week (but they did have one on the website) and said the next one is supposed to be only in April.

You can’t combine the $5 codes, and they expire in the end of the following month.

Thank you for this info!! I appreciate it.

I don’t know if they would accept them in stores, but online no, you cannot. They do expire, each card is good for two months.

I let this bag go after getting 2 and now I’m jumping back in. I think the products are much better than what Sephora has been sending and I love that everyone gets the same thing. I used the $5. card each time on a lipstick so really for $10. this is a steal.

I LOVE this bag! This might not be the popular opinion, but I always like the Macy’s bag over IPSY or Sephora Play!. Their bag design is always fresh and the bags are very well made. I’ve actually sewed chain straps onto two of them (October and November) converting them into adorable clutches.
Also, I am on mascara and eyeliner overload, so the skin products usually found in the Macy’s bag is a refreshing change.

Agree with others – I don’t want the samples, but I’ll go on eBay and buy the bag.

That is a beautiful bag! I’m on sample/deluxe size product overload right now, but hopefully someone is willing to swap their bag.

Is it possible to just buy one month, w/o subscribing?

Sometimes they sell them in stores; a whole shelf of em!

Wow! Really? I’ll have to check that out when I go to the mall. Thx Carol! 🙂

Hmm, I wonder if the Macy’s where I am has the November boxes still, that was the one I missed. And can you use the coupons from the bags towards the purchase of the beauty bag, lol? 🙂

I think this box is screaming for me to unsubscribe. I have a few boxes on the chopping block but I decided to stay with them all throughout December. I was hoping for holiday related boxes and this one falls woefully short. The bag is nice, but for December? It screams ‘spring’ to me. As for the products, there is nothing very exciting. I like the Peter Thomas Roth, and I like the Tory Burch perfume. Chanel hand cream or the Estée Lauder are both very blah. If the NudeStix is the shade pictured, I won’t be able to use it. Orange/coral/peach looks awful on me. And seriously….a MAC lipstick sample card? The $5 coupon is always nice, but I think I will be saying goodbye to this box. The samples are often products that have been around forever, and you can get most of them free in-store. Allure is a much better box for $15. I will also be keeping Beauty Fix, BoxyCharm and Ipsy (although I am in serious product overload). Sephora is still a maybe.

I feel just like you and I just cancelled this box. In addition I never received my November box. I got an email that it was on its way with no tracking activity o bviously they never sent it out but discuss not replace it and . It was a hassle to get a refund had to called customer service and the rep did not really understand what I was talking about. Im not really excited about the products either. I for an extra 6 dollars I’m going to replace this subscription with Box Charm.

I have many similar feelings as you on this bag. The design IS pretty, but springy, and I could do without the lettering. The sample card is really my least fave thing. And while I was one of the seemingly few who liked the Macy’s box before this, this one isn’t doing it for me. Like you, I was hoping December would be something “special” but I can do without this one from now on since I’m swimming in similar products. Canceled.

I’m not that interested in the samples, but would swap for the bag!

I was optioned to get Macy’s subscription box but I decided the November box sucked to me and was all crap that every other box has. That’s why I decided to not join then , but this one is actually worth it to me. Hopefully they will have more openings but if not I don’t care , I have 10 other box subscriptions that I have that are way better. But it’d still be nice to try it once! I hope Macy’s has more openings so everyone can enjoy this cute December box ☺️

I have been watching on the sidelines but I think if I ever get to the pint of wanting a beauty sub again it might be this one. It is getting better and I like the bags and the samples and could easily use the coupons.
