Farm Momma October 2017 Booklet

The vibe of this box gives me so much pleasure. You know that this is a small business you are supporting and that the owner of Farm Momma, Jess, is in turn supporting other small businesses with the items she chooses.

Farm Momma October 2017 Note

Jessica often includes handwritten notes which add a thoughtful, personal touch.

Farm Momma October 2017 Sign

Farm Momma October 2017 Sign2

Mann Made Designs Happy Fall Y’all Sign – Retail Value $14.95

This carved wooden sign is stunning. I can’t believe that the price is only $14.95 because I would have expected it to be at least double that. This will be perfect for hanging in our living room all fall. It comes with a knotted leather cord for hanging. I’ll be buying more signs from Mann Made as gifts this holiday season. I think this may have been an exclusive for Farm Momma because I don’t see this particular saying for sale on Etsy.

Farm Momma October 2017 Pumpkin

Farm Momma October 2017 Pumpkin2

Rustic Occasions Reclaimed Wooden Pumpkin – Estimated Value $22.00?

This is a very interesting piece and no two are exactly alike since they’re made from reclaimed wood. The pumpkin measure 8 inches. I will display this on our fireplace mantle this fall. The one I see available for purchase on Rustic Occasions Etsy shop with gold glitter is stunning. I wish mine had a bit of sparkle too!

Farm Momma October 2017 Munch

Farm Momma October 2017 Munch3

Baum’s House of Chocolate Moose Munch – Estimated Value $3.00?

This Moose Munch which is caramel corn, chocolate covered caramel corn and large pecan halves was only ok. I’ve definitely tasted better, but it wasn’t bad either. I would have liked it to be a little more buttery tasting.

Farm Momma October 2017 Candle

Glass Jar Tea Light Holder – Estimated Value $5.00?

This small glass jar has a metal handle and piece inside to hold a tea light. The candle is scented with a warm fall smell that I find very pleasant. It appears that this jar and candle are from Etsy seller CM Wrap-N-Ship Supply but I don’t see anything similar for sale on their Etsy page so I’m estimating the price.

Farm Momma October 2017 Keychain

Terra Cottage Shop Wood Keychain – Retail Value $6.00

This keychain is made from painted wooden balls. The chipped white paint on the bottom ball gives it a rustic feel, while the orange balls make it feel very autumnal. The darling felted wool acorns are possibly my favorite item in the entire box. I’m not sure if these are also from Terra Cottage Shop, as I don’t see them listed on her page but they were packaged with the keychain.

Farm Momma October 2017 Traditions

Heart of the Farm Memory Cards – Estimated Value $0.50 (buy 60 for $5.00)

These 4 x 2 inch cards can be used to jot down memories and traditions from the upcoming holidays and partner with the Heart of the Farm recipe card book. I like the idea of placing the cards at each place setting for Thanksgiving and asking guests to fill out and share the cards at dinnertime.

Verdict: Farm Momma was packaged beautifully again and felt like such a fun fall treat to unbox. This month it came to around $51 (with my estimations) which is well above the $31.49 monthly cost (including free shipping to the US). My favorite part of this box is seeing the beautiful handmade items from natural materials. I discover new Etsy artisans each month that I would never know about otherwise. If farmhouse décor is your style I definitely recommend this box.

Jessica’s addiction started off slowly enough with Birchbox, but it has grown and grown over the last three years. An elementary school librarian and mom of two she loves boxes that are child-centric. But she’ll never turn down a good fashion, beauty or tasty treat subscription.
