Let’s take a look at what’s inside!

Lid Liners, pack of 16 – Retail Value $8.99

These lid liners are such a nice addition for me in this month’s box;  they are meant to help soak up the sweat in hats, helping the sweat not get through to the material, keeping them fresher, longer. I just recently became aware that these liners even existed, so I’m excited to spread the word and share with my friends! The quality seems to be pretty absorbent and 16 pieces for $8.99, I think that’s a great deal!

Benschop Blades BB-x8 Folding Knife – Retail Value $29.95 (found on sale here for $14.95)

I’m not the biggest knife person, so I think this will be a great gift or a nice addition to my toolbox, I haven’t decided yet. The knife itself is very durable and has some weight to it, making me think that it’s pretty good quality. The blade itself is very sharp, too, so it should be a breeze when needing to cut something. I read some reviews about the brand, Benschop, and it seems like they’re pretty well known and their knives seem to last. Great product!

Keepin’ it Reel Beanie – Retail Value $20?

I was unable to find this site anywhere online, so my value is an estimate.

This beanie is pretty eye-catching and I love the graphic, “Keepin’ it Reel” – it’s pretty comical and a definite conversation starter. With the winter season coming up, you can’t have enough beanies, so this was a great addition for me in this month’s box! The hat itself is of pretty good quality and the material is thick, so it should keep me warm on cold days! I also appreciate the grey color, making this easily pairable and matching with most outfits.

Verdict: This is my second experience with Boomtown Box and I’m overall pleased with the products received and how they stuck to a general theme, Outdoors. The estimated value received in this shipment is about $58.94 ($44 using sale prices), which is almost $29 more than the cost to receive the box, so you’re winning when it comes to value!

  1. Probably the lowest value, and lowest quality items I’ve received. I subscribe to 9 boxes monthly and this no question is the poorest ever to show up at my door.

3 Items, all poor quality. Beanie is less than Walmart quality. Pocket Knife less than a $4 blade from Walmart.

  2. I tried two months of this box and was severely disappointed, and this one seems to be on part with those boxes.
