They consider me an ace and I have no idea why. No way have I ever spent $300 at Birchbox. Oh well – I’m happy to take the discounts. Spent a grand total of $39 this weekend at Birchbox (between two separate purchases), and getting loads of stuff for it. Happy dance.

It has to do with your status from 2016. If you were a subscriber then or referred anyone you were able to get Ace status pretty easily and that carries through until the end of this year but if you didn’t spend $300 in 2017 (the only way to get Ace status with their program changes) your Ace status will go away for 2018. I’m in the same boat.

I just bought the night time beauty discovery box which is normally $35. I added the mystery gift with $30 purchase, added the aces gift and added the natural beauty discovery kit which was free with $50 purchase. Had a whopping $2 in points so cashed those it for a grand total of $25. Whoop whoop!

Birchbox has the worst deals. The products are all expensive and people usually buy them elsewhere where there’s a better reward system or credit. 10% and 15% are frankly insulting and to be an ace you need to spend $300 with birchbox. Yeah I don’t think so.

How is a discount code insulting? I see the same prices at Sephora for the same items at Birchbox or Ulta. Why so cranky? You don’t want to shop at Birchbox, that’s fine but you should really do something about your poor attitude. It’s not good for anyone.

Awesome! This can be combined with all the offers too since there is no code! I got this pack, the mystery sample pack with $30 purchase, free Richer Poorer socks, AND 25% off my order for being an ace! Two standard Baggu bags and one large one for less than $27! So excited to see what’s in both mystery sample packs!

I was surprised that you could stack the codes, normally BB restricts you to one per order. I ordered a mini benefit blush (15) and then added the ace surprise pack (which took me to $30), at which point I could add the normal pack, bringing up my before discount total to $40, so I could add the socks as my GWP.

After the 25% discount and free shipping, I paid like $12. I feel like this may have been an oversight on their part, but the perks of being an Ace are normally like $5 twice a year in points.
