This month’s theme is “Gratitude.” I love Aroma Box‘s seasonally themed boxes!

The information sheet from Herb Stop is really impressive. There’s a lot of knowledge packed in here! Every oil they sent is matched with three different usage tips. That’s really helpful! Plus on the reverse side, there is a recipe for “Gratitude Massage Oil” blend! Oooooooo!

I also wanted to point out that their information sheet contains important safety information under each oil. It’s definitely great info to have on hand.

Bergamot Mint, 1/6 oz – Estimated Value $5.85 ($11.70 per 1/3 oz)

The first thing I thought when I smelled this is, “That smells like Whole Foods.” Haha! On closer inspection, it’s a very subtle minty smell mixed with a strong hint of citrus. It smells great! It’s included in this month’s box for its de-stressing qualities: it calms without sedating. Sounds good to me!

Atlas Cedarwood, 1/6 oz – Estimated Value  $3.27 ($9.80 per 1/2 oz)

Yep, it smells like cedar, which is a great thing! I had no idea all the wonderful things Atlas Cedarwood can do. It calms, relieves tension, de-stresses, but it also is an aphrodisiac(!), treats acne, and treats respiratory and urinary conditions! Wow!

Yellow Mandarin, 1/6 oz – Estimated Value $3.25 ($6.50 per 1/3 oz (on sale 50% off!))

As you might expect, this smells like a tangerine. I once had a blend of lavender and mandarin, and it always put me to sleep instantly! It has a powerful calming effect. As such, it relieves tension and anxiety, but it is also good for digestion, which makes it especially good to have on hand during the holidays!

Thankful Roll-On Oil – Listed Value $16.95 (not available at

I used the typical value of Herb Stop’s roll-on oils, but this blend is exclusive to Aroma Box’s subscribers! It is their way of saying thanks, and it’s meant to encourage feelings of gratitude. It’s a blend of bergamot, cedarwood, grapefruit, ylang ylang, spruce and oakmoss in jojoba oil.

The Verdict: I am consistently impressed with the Aroma Box by Herb Stop. I am getting such a massive education on natural health and wellness through this subscription! The oils are top quality and purity. The curation is also spot on and always perfectly suited to the month. The retail value this month is good – about $29 worth of oils for $20. I’m a big fan!
