The Large Kawaii & Beauty WOWBOX usually contains 10-14 items. There are 7 snacks and 3 beauty products this month.

Descriptions, nutrition facts, and allergy information can be found online in their "partners" section

They have included an info card specifically for the beauty products this month, so let's get into those first!

Kamiya Konnyaku Puff

This puff is made of 100% natural material (the Asian yam, known as Konnyaku or Konjak). Because of this, it can be used by people with more sensitive skin. It's very hard when dry, even more so than a loofah, but once run under warm water, becomes really soft. I am kiiiiind of obsessed with this and can see why it's super popular in Japan and Korea. It's so squishy and lightly exfoliates without any soap or products needed. It's suggested that you take out of the bathroom after use and let completely dry so it doesn't get musty.

Kamiya Lip Cream

First off, how amazing is the packaging for this cute little lip balm?? One you unpackage, a small plastic tub with a cute kitty face on the lid is revealed. The pink balm contained within reminds me a little of vaseline intensive care lip balm, but not as goopy. It has a light menthol scent that also makes your lips tingle a bit when applied. I will definitely be keeping this in my purse all winter!

Kamiya Cotton Lip Sheets

These sheets are so funny in their lip-form. Each cotton sheet has a soft side and a coated side which you can use either way, depending on what you want.

Tohato Pari Pipo Avocado Cheese Crackers

Are cheesy avocado crackers "a thing" in Japan? Back in July, I received a different type in a Skoshbox, which was my introduction to this dark underbelly of snacks. I am very into it, but don't quite understand why they exist! These are a light but slightly greasy puffed triangle with half avocado and half cheese flavors together as one. They are crispy, sort of tangy, and fun to eat.

Satsumanma Pineapple Mix

What another strange combo we have here. The info on WOWBOX's website says these are a sweet potato snack (like a dehydrated chip) that have gotten a tropical overhaul. When I first bite into a chip, it's super tart and citrusy, but then it mellows out into the sweet potato flavor. There are also dehydrated pineapple bits included in this mix as well. Well done!

Natural Calbee Potato Chips in French Salad

Ooooh- you know I love chips! Calbee is a great go-to chip maker when I'm in an Asian market and these hold up their reputation. I'm not sure what a French salad is, but these are basically a sour cream and onion flavor. I guess these are a special release, so I feel very lucky to be blessed with them.

Fuwarinka (Beauty Rose) Candies - Value $3.31

I received these rose candies in the July box as well and still love them even though they have a perfumey taste. I'm guessing they call these "beauty rose" because they contain vitamin C and collagen, which are known to help your skin look more youthful!

Bisco Minipack (Strawberry) - Buy 20 packs for $8.73

Maaaaan- I always get stuck with strawberry cream filled things. Never chocolate! The kid on the package is cracking me up though and seems to enjoy this sandwich cookie regardless of my opinion.

Kaju Gummy (Tetsubun Grapefruit)

Grapefruit gummies? YES PLEASE. I will eat anything grapefruit flavored and these are no exception. The flavor of these is SO WONDERFUL and SO REAL.

Ippon Manzoku Cereal Bar - White Chocolate

I know- this doesn't look appetizing, does it? It's the crackly white chocolate coating. But it's good! I swear to you. It's like eating a crispy breakfast in bar form. I am always too lazy to make breakfast on weekdays, so I just drink coffee until I am starving by lunchtime, so this is a good little snack-a-roo for me full of fruit and crispy rice. Also- didn't know there was a whole craze around their commercials?

Verdict:  I thoroughly enjoyed WOWBOX this month! The snacks were awesome and I was super excited about the new beauty products! For $34.99, I got seven snacks and three beauty items. Since I can't get my hands on almost any of these otherwise, I'd say this box is well worth it for the kawaii beauty and snack enthusiast.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Sadly, no. But you still have time to sign up for the October box!

Current Crush

Love it the Kamiya stuff is worth more than the cost of the box alone when I’ve bought it on Amazon. FYI for anyone wondering the lip sheets are meant to be used with the cream like a mask. Using it just as a balm was amazing last Winter too….

Thank you for mentioning that! I had no idea how those cotton lip sheets were supposed to be used, lol.
