Target Baby Box October 2017 - Info card Target Baby Box October 2017 - Coupon for $10 off

As usual, this month's box starts out with a rundown of everything included and a $10 off coupon (good for purchases of $50 or more from Target's baby department). I love opening up a box to find out I can easily get what I paid back, and then some! These are super handy to use for diapers, formula, and baby food.

Target Baby Box October 2017 - Seventh Generation Coconut Care Wipes Target Baby Box October 2017 - Seventh Generation Coconut Care Wipes

SEVENTH GENERATION Coconut Care Wipes (20 wipes) - Retail Value Approximately $1.50

(This is a new product, so I couldn't find it online yet!)

The first item in this Baby Box is a handy travel pack of wipes! You can never have too many of these, in my opinion.

I've never tried Seventh Generation wipes before because I've been staunchly dedicated to Honest Company wipes since I discovered them (and I always, always have too many of them, which keeps me from trying other brands!). I do like that Seventh Generation is a Certified B Corp and contains no synthetic fragrances, sulfates, parabens, or phthalates.

These wipes are a new formula made with coconut oil and they seem really promising. They don't have a lot of texture, but they're quite thick and soft. There's a fairly prominent coconut scent (coconut oil, vanillin, orange peel oil, and jasmine flower extract are all ingredients), but the fragrance only lingers slightly after wiping. We'll definitely go through these quick in our diaper bag.

Target Baby Box October 2017 - Honest Beauty Gel Cleanser Target Baby Box October 2017 - Honest Beauty Gel Cleanser

THE HONEST CO. Refreshingly Clean Gel Cleanser (2 fl oz / 60 mL) - Retail Value $8

Full size! My skin can be very sensitive to new cleansers, especially gel cleansers, so I wasn't able to test this one for myself. It smells amazing though– this gel cleanser contains lavendula, fir needle, geranium, patchouli, and chamomile oils.

Even though this one isn't for me, I love that Target Baby Box always includes a product just for mom, too. (I previously got some Burt's Bees Facial Wipes which I loved!)

Have you tried this product? What do you think of it?

Target Baby Box October 2017 - Babyganics Alcohol Free Hand Sanitizer Target Baby Box October 2017 - Babyganics Alcohol Free Hand Sanitizer

BABYGANICS Foaming Hand Sanitizer (1.69 fl oz / 50 mL) - Retail Value $2.99

Full size! I usually avoid hand sanitizer when possible because it always dries my skin out, but it's kind of a given when you have babies and toddlers around... there are just times when you want to have hand sanitizer on hand. I was impressed with the formula of this one! The foaming pump is awesome and it didn't have that stinging sensation of other sanitizers. Going right into the diaper bag!

Target Baby Box October 2017 - Honest Company Face + Body Lotion Sample Target Baby Box October 2017 - Honest Company Face + Body Lotion Sample

THE HONEST CO. Face + Body Lotion (0.75 fl oz / 22 mL) - Retail Value Approximately $1 (buy an 8.5 oz. tube for $9.99)

I have this exact sample on my desk at work already; it's been my go-to lotion for combating dry skin as the seasons change. A little goes a long way with this stuff, and it's truly scent-free, so I feel good about using it on myself and my kid with no risk of irritation. This is the perfect size for throwing in your purse or glove box for those harsh winter months ahead.

Target Baby Box October 2017 - Oilogic Cough Blend Sample Target Baby Box October 2017 - Oilogic Cough Blend Sample

OILOGIC Stuffy Nose & Cough (.07 fl oz / 2 mL) - Retail Value Approximately $1.78 (buy a 0.30 oz. bottle for $7.99)

(The info card says this is a roll-on, but it's actually a tiny little sample vial.)

This essential oil blend contains fir needle, eucalyptus, and cypress as well as lavandin, orange, and jojoba. The eucalyptus comes through the strongest for me, and this is definitely some strong stuff that would be sure to help clear up those pesky winter head colds.  This is really the only 'seasonal' item in this box and it's something I hope I don't have to try... but I'll be glad to have it on hand if cold season ends up knocking on our door!

Target Baby Box October 2017 - Probiotic Drops by Mommy's Bliss

Target Baby Box October 2017 - Probiotic Drops by Mommy's Bliss

MOMMY’S BLISS Probiotic Drops 15-Day Boost (0.20 fl oz / 6 mL) - Retail Value $14.99

Full size! This is a product that may not be useful for everyone: these are probiotic drops formulated for babies, to be added to breastmilk or formula, or given directly with a spoon. This product is gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free and is advertised to help newborn babies maintain digestive balance, particularly if they've been given antibiotics and have digestive issues as a result.

Target Baby Box October 2017 - Johnson's Baby Bedtime Bath Target Baby Box October 2017 - Johnson's Baby Bedtime Bath

JOHNSON’S Bedtime Baby Bath (3 fl oz / 88 mL) - Retail Value Approximately $1 (buy a 15 fl oz. bottle for $4.99)

As much as I love more eco-friendly products and try not to support animal testing with my purchases, I still consider Johnson's baby products to be the quintessential baby bath products. We actually just finished a bottle of this that my mom had purchased for our toddler after he started having trouble sleeping once we moved into a "big boy" bed.

As far as I can tell, this formula is similar to a bubble bath without bubbles, since it's more about the soothing lavender smell than having fun. Has it helped my son sleep better? Absolutely not 😉 but, it smells great!

Target Baby Box October 2017 - Aquaphor Advanced Therapy Sample Target Baby Box October 2017 - Aquaphor Advanced Therapy Sample

AQUAPHOR Baby Healing Ointment (0.35 oz / 10 g) - Retail Value Approximately $1 (buy a 3 oz. tube for $6.69)

This last little sample tube from Aquaphor is a handy product to have around. When we got our first series of diaper rashes when my son was a newborn, it took us forever to find which products worked for us, and which ones didn't. This product is 41% petroleum jelly, which isn't my favorite... but we did run into a few rashes where it seemed like nothing else would work. It's always nice to have these little trial sizes on hand so you can figure out what DOES work for you before buying full-size.

Verdict: If you buy diapers or other baby products from Target, these Baby Boxes are a no-brainer because of the included coupons! They're a great way to try out a variety of baby products for cheap (and essentially for free after the coupon), and many of the products can be used even if you don't have a newborn. This box had three full-size products and some generously sized samples, too, with a retail value of about $32.26... not bad for a $7 box!

Can I still get this box if I sign up today? Yes, this box is still available!

Value Breakdown: For this $7 box, here's about how much you're paying for each item included:

  • BABYGANICS Foaming Hand Sanitizer (1.69 fl oz / 50 mL) - $0.64
  • THE HONEST CO. Face + Body Lotion (0.75 fl oz / 22 mL) - $0.22
  • MOMMY’S BLISS Probiotic Drops 15-Day Boost (0.20 fl oz / 6 mL) - $3.25
  • SEVENTH GENERATION Coconut Care Wipes (20 wipes) - $0.32
  • JOHNSON’S Bedtime Baby Bath (3 fl oz / 88 mL) - $0.22
  • OILOGIC Stuffy Nose & Cough Roll-On (.07 fl oz / 2 mL) - $0.38
  • AQUAPHOR Baby Healing Ointment (0.35 oz / 10 g) - $0.22
  • THE HONEST CO. Refreshingly Clean Gel Cleanser (2 fl oz / 60 mL) - $1.75

I was wondering the same. Love these boxes. Seems like there should have been a January box.

I don’t have kids, but I almost always order the baby box! 🙂 I love all the unscented and sensitive skin products…and baby wipes aren’t just for babies! 😀

The probiotic drops is not a full size. It’s 6 ml, full size – 10 ml.

You can buy this product in a 15 or 30 serving size (thus the “15 day boost” part of the name), but the 15 day size isn’t available at Target so I linked to that size on Amazon.

Thanks for information. 😉

Great review, thank you! One weird thing for me, every time I order a baby box it comes ripped. The regular boxes never do. Isn’t that odd? 🙂

I’ve noticed that too! Mine always have a dented corner or a gash so I can’t re use it. It’s a shame too because the boxes are usually a bit bigger than the other target boxes so I would have used them for gifts or storage 🙁
