Next by Nest is a candle subscription box from Nest Fragrances, and of course, I had to subscribe immediately. (I love their candles!)

Each month you’ll receive a classic candle, a votive candle, and one surprise item – all in the same scent!

This packaging is fantastic. It’s a high-end gift box that you’ll definitely want to keep and re-use. (And if you are thinking about buying this subscription as a gift, it’s already perfectly wrapped each month!)

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes

Each box comes with a card detailing the scent of the month.

This month they introduced a new scent: Sugar Cookie!

Now, on to the items!

Sugar Cookie Classic Candle – Value $40

The candle is poured into a frosted glass vessel. And as always, the packaging of Nest Candles is lovely and perfect for gifting.

This is a brand new scent from Nest and I LOVE IT! I was originally concerned that it might have an artificial vanilla smell that a lot of baked good scented candles can have, but nope! It just smells like sugar, caramel, and vanilla. (My husband Eric loves this candle, too!)

And with this subscription, in addition to the large candle (50-60 burn time), you also get a mini votive candle in the same scent:

Sugar Cookie Votive Candle – Value $16

This candle has a 20-hour burn time and the same glass and box design as the larger candle.

Silver Candle Lid – Value $22

I have to be honest, I didn’t see the value of candle lids before I received one of these in a Next box last year, but now I get it – it keeps the dust out!

And it looks very classy on the candle, too:

Verdict: This box has a value of $78. I think that’s good for a $56 subscription, and that’s not including the value of the box itself. (This would make the best gift ever.)

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. Right now the November box would be the first box available.

Coupon – None available.

Value Breakdown: At $56 for the box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  • Classic Candle: $28.72
  • Votive Candle $11.49
  • Lid: $15.79

What do you think of the October Next by Nest Fragrances box? Are you loving the Sugar Cookie scent?

Inside each month’s box, you’ll find: • One Classic Candle • One Votive Candle • A note from our Founder, Laura Slatkin, on the month’s curated scent • A special surprise gift This subscription is available in 3 month or 6 month subscriptions only.

This subscription is the box of my dreams!

I feel the cost for their candles are very high that the lid should come with the big candle always special that the candle is 40 alone. I dont think thats a extra special gift. Just my thoughts. Beautiful either way.

I love my NEST subscription. They do seem to have an extra that is not a votive every 3rd month. I liked last months Pumpkin Chai so much that the candle was gone before the end of the month. This month the box didn’t arrive until 10/11 (normally arrives @the 1st) so I had to go almost two weeks with a NEST candle burning (first world problems). And while I do like the Sugar Cookie scent it really does smell like a lot of Yankee Candle or Bath & Body Works candles I’ve had in the past. So to me this month wasn’t worth the higher price I pay for this brand.
I was happy to see another candle lid.
