Each MissionCute box comes with an inspirational info card (5×7 graphic print). With the fresh start of the new fall season, this month’s quote is perfect, “Today is a good day for a good day.” The back of the card notes that this month’s proceeds go to Amoveo Group, created to implement a unique approach to addressing poverty through merging the theory of collective impact with social business to create a sustainable model of development for poor communities. I also received an info card listing each item and the featured brand, which is always helpful to navigate through your box!
Wishbone Necklace by Broken Record Boutique – Value $10.00
This necklace was such a sweet little surprise! I was shocked to see the cost because it is really high quality. The chain is thick and sturdy, no tangling here, and the charm is beautifully crafted. You can really tell that this is handmade with love! It is also the perfect length which will allow me to layer this piece with other necklaces.
Bloom Belief Card Deck – Value $9.95
Each deck comes with thirty cards that feature a positive message with a blank back in case you want to write an extra message. I love that these are meant to be passed along to a friend or loved one as a special reminder or can be used as a greeting card. I love writing notes, especially if we have house guests I will leave greetings for them throughout the house. These are the perfect and easy way to brighten someone’s day. I might even use these to pass along to some friends at work when they need a little pick me up!
Sprinkle Dash Yummy Treat Greeting Card – Value $3.30? (price guess based on similar item)
I love collecting greeting cards so this was a really cute item to receive! The inside of the card is blank, allowing you to use the card for any occasion or simply for a quick thank you note to a friend. The graphic on the card is so sweet and would make a wonderful birthday card paired with a cake or cookie! I can’t wait to use this!
Bloom Planners Classic Planner Sticker Pack – Value $9.95
I have to admit, this sticker pack seems a bit young for me to use. While I do love using stickers with my son, I don’t know if I will be using any for my daily planner. These are really adorable though so I am going to pass them along to one of my friend’s daughters that is a teenager to use. I know she will absolutely love them and get a lot of use out of each sticker pad!
Viv & Lou Emerson Paisley Pillow Cover – Value $4.00 on sale, Regular Price $16.00
This 18″ pillow cover was really sturdy and high quality, I was surprised by the low price point. While the print isn’t my style, I really loved all of the bold colors. I also noticed on the site that you can get the center monogrammed, what a cute touch to add!
Verdict: I have been receiving MissionCute for a few month’s now, but I have to say that this month’s box is falling a bit short for me. I absolutely love what MissionCute stands for by highlighting smaller brands and donating to a new cause each month. However, I have always felt that this box scales a bit younger, and this month’s products really showcased that these are for a younger audience. Most of the items are something that I know my niece or my friend’s kids will love which makes me really happy that I get to share these products with them and teach them about MissionCute. I am sad though that there wasn’t really much in this month’s box for me to keep. I calculated the overall value to roughly $37.20, that is if my estimate on the card is correct, which brings us in a little short of the $39 monthly cost. Hopefully next month there will be more of a variety of products that I can share or keep, and I would love to see at least one higher price item to help bring that overall value up a bit!
