This box came with a card detailing the items included, instructions for use, and ingredients.

Now, on to the items!

Le Metier De Beaute Perfect Brow Tweezers - Value $30

These tweezers have a slanted tip, and a brow comb on the end - so smart! Most importantly, these are quality tweezers that provide a good grip - so I'm more than happy. I will gladly pay $30 for a good set of tweezers, so everything else in this box is bonus to me! (And the little zippered storage case is great for travel, too.)

Le Metier De Beaute Eyebrow Fan Brush - Value $28

This tool is designed for applying and blending brow powders, gels, and crèmes. I typically use a tool like this with a spoolie on one end, and an angled brush on the other end for my brows. This brush took a little getting used to but was good for blending out the brow powder lines.

Le Metier De Beaute Ultra Hydration Eye Mask Duo – Value $18.75

These are designed with a seaweed base to “immediately deliver a cool, calming sensation with actives to soothe the delicate under eye area.” I definitely noticed the cooling sensation, and my skin felt hydrated after removing them.

I've tried these masks once before thanks to the February box, and they are great, but I didn't find them to be much different than other (much cheaper) eye gels I've sampled, so I wouldn't recommend paying full price for these.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $76.75 - not bad! I like the eyebrow theme, too! I signed up for this subscription for the makeup, but I'm OK with a few non-makeup months, too.

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. This subscription is only available for purchase once a year. The next time it opens for purchase is May 2018 through July 2018.

Coupon – no coupons available for this subscription.

Value Breakdown: At $29 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  • Tweezers: $11.34
  • Eyebrow Brush: $10.58
  • Eye gels: $7.08

What do you think of the October Beauty Vault VIP box?

Did somebody received the November shipment?

I received my November shipment today….after emailing customer service, VIP and messaging them on Facebook. Their explanation was that “several of our November shipments went missing”. They shipped it, and sent me a tracking number after I contacted them.

Has anyone with this subscription received their November box…an email explaining when subscribers will receive November AND December (since we are NOW in December)…anything at all?!

I sent an email already, but I’ll send another. Can others try to reach out with me? I’d really like some information. This was a good bit of money pre-paid in advance, and we are now December 4th, and I know that I haven’t received a November or December package. That’s not VIP treatment.

I just received what I guess is the November box a few minutes ago. The postmark says Nov 28th so hopefully everybody will be getting theirs in the next day or so.

Heather

I haven’t gotten anything either and was wondering if it was just me. Has anybody received a November box, tracking # or even an explanation?

No, I haven’t. I sent a day or two ago and haven’t received any response. Maybe you can send an email, too, and it will help get the ball rolling? Maybe? It was a lot of money upfront!

Lori, in the past the boxes contained a much higher value nearly every month. This is my fifth and last year as I have seen it gradually declining in value and service. Although this month isn’t high value, I prefer it to the past couple of boxes which were an extreme disappointment.

Thanks for explaining Mary. Too bad it’s declined over the years.

I don’t really get this subscription. I’ve read the reviews for the last few months and it hasn’t screamed high end to me. For almost $100 less a year, you could have a prepaid yearly sub to Boxycharm. For $348 a year, I’d expect to be wowed often. Maybe I’m missing something.

Liz, thank you so much for including the info about these eye gels being standard and not a superstar product. It is so appreciated and helps me decide which products to focus on and purchase.

My only criticism with the tweezers is that they are quite stiff/difficult to squeeze, otherwise they are very, very good tweezers. I must admit that my tweezing hand is very weak, and will get stronger once my bone issues are fixed.
I do not have any small brush like this, and I LOVE it!
Overall, I am again disappointed with the total value (compared to the first year in which I subscribed). I hope LMDB starts sending higher value boxes.

Ever tried Uncle Bill’s silver grippers? I snatched my husband’s pair when I realized how nice they were for eyebrow tweezing. They don’t take too much hand strength so I like them more than any beauty tweezer I’ve tried.

Thanks for the info. I just bought 2 of them because of your suggestion. I’ve never heard of this brand either but am looking forward to trying it.

Rosemary

Hi! No…I have never heard of them before. I will look them up now. Thank you so much!!!

Connie

I am so glad I signed up for this subscription. I just purchased the charcoal mask from the previous box as it was great. Am a little worried I am going to like everything.

Heather

I really liked that mask too but was a little concerned with the size for $135, if you don’t mind me asking does it seem to be a decent amount?

Connie

They recently had 25% off which is why I purchased. $135.00 felt on the higher end but after looking at other similar products seemed in line. I liked how it worked and how my skin felt after. Plus a little goes a long way and the percentage off helped. Customer service is excellent.

Mary

I am so happy with this month’s box! I am keeping everything! 🙂
