I stopped being subscribers after they closed my account with $ 85 that I had by refer a friend .. then told me to recreate my account that they would return my points, I did what they told me and when I went to use my points Birchbox canceled my account again claiming that I had indicated too many people and that this characterized uncommon use of the points program. In other words, my mistake was to recommend this company to my followers and they subscribe. shame of you Birchbox at the time of accepting the subscribers that I indicated everything okay, at the time of letting me spend my points you canceled my account.

Like others here, I left Birchbox for Sephora Play when they dropped the points-for-review program. Not missing them at all – Birchbox is heavy on haircare items (like dry shampoo and hairspray), which I am not into. When they do a special sale, I sometimes buy a birthday gift for a friend. Just snagged the Reese Witherspoon box recently for $30 to surprise a good friend.

I semi-permanently did away with BirchBox after them dropping their points credit. I bought a ton of things with my credits, but since then only bite when they have a 2 boxes for 1 deal. 10+ samples for $10 is cool, but it’s so hit or miss.

I ditched birchbox when they did away with the points program. Sephora play is the best $10 subscription imo. I like getting 5 samples plus a fragrance. The samples are smaller but I enjoy the high end samples. I have purchased more items from having tried them in Sephora play than any other subscription.

They need to bring back the points or sale the boxes for 7.50. But the palette makes me want to subscribe. But not doing it. It Is a waste to me I don’t need it but I would love to have it. I told myself no more beauty subscriptions unless it’s a product I use in the box and it’s worth it.

Bye the way what ever happen with Beauty Box 5?

I loved the beta select? I was able to pick exclusive boxes every month or tell them when I needed a primer or moisturizer!! I don’t think I used the “let them surprise you with 5 samples” option since they stated the beta. Every single month I’ve taken advantage of it. Ugh

Haha, it took them 6 months to figure that out?

This is just, the end for me. Birchbox was my first box & it got me excited to see what I got every month & brought new products to my attention I didn’t know anything about. But, the last few months have been sub par-at best. The sizes of the products have gotten smaller & less interesting & less relevant to my profile or what I can/would use. After September’s box, I wanted to unsub but waited to see October’s box because there was an item to choose that I did really want. It was again, smaller than expected. Nothing is full size anymore. And now no choosing something…pretty sure I’m done now.

I was not terribly impressed with the program.
I just wish they would put some effort into shipping. Can’t really track shipment and it is very slow.

It wasn’t that great of a program to begin with….

You read my mind. This was their “cool solve option” when they took away the points system.
