Each month, ZBox will have a theme around their box. This month’s theme was Retro and items from Blade Runner, Marvel, Pac-Man, Spider-Man, and The Mysterons.
You’ll get a booklet that details your items and features a few stories around that month’s franchises.
Pac-Man Cherry Pin – Value $5
This month includes an exclusive pin featuring the cherries from Pac-Man!
Blade Runner Shirt – Value $15?
I’m loving this month’s exclusive shirt! It features a look into that futuristic world created by Blade Runner – and does a good job at being subtle, I knew it was Blade Runner right away without have the logo stamped on it.
Super Mario Large Figure Collection – Yoshi – Value $15-25 (based on similar Amazon products)
My favorite item of the box features Liz’s favorite Mario character – Yoshi!
The figures are about 5 inches with a tiny bit of articulation. This wasn’t in the booklet, though, but it’s as nice of a surprise as I’ve received in a box!
Captain Scarlet Vinyl Figure – Value $10-15?
The Cult Vinyl first launched in the December My Geek Box – the line continues with a figure from The Mysterons – Captain Scarlet.
These are exclusive to My Geek Box and ZBox. I’m a vinyl figure fan, but not really a fan of these sculpts.
Spider-Man Tin Sign – Value $10-15?
This month includes a Marvel item in the form of an 8×6 tin sign.
It features Spider-Man with Uncle Ben’s famous mantra. There are 4 little holes to mount the sign where ever you want.
Marvel Comic Strip Sunglasses – Value $10-15?
The final item is a pair of Marvel sunglasses. I can’t find these specific sunglasses online, so I’m ballparking the value based on similar sunglasses.
It’s cool that it features a little comic strip – it makes it a bit subtle from a distance, but a fun design to inspect up close.
Verdict: I really liked this month’s ZBox once again! They did a great job of sticking to the theme and going broad across different franchises – really well done. My favorite item is easily the 5 inch Yoshi – it really made the box for me!
