What's In Your Box? is a sex-positive monthly subscription box for women's sexual health & satisfaction.

What’s In Your Box? was developed to start a conversation about women’s sexual health – and encourage women everywhere to do the same. By talking openly about sexuality, pleasure, prevention and consent, we eliminate shame, normalize the conversation and empower all women to achieve the sex life they desire.

As a part of our mission to care for your cooch, we curate a monthly subscription box filled with an assortment of products, sex toys and information for a safe and satisfying sex life. By sifting through the clutter of what’s on the market for women’s sexual health, pleasure, hygiene and empowerment, WIYB provides women with a convenient new means of discovering products that are safe for their bodies, provide enjoyment and secure confidence in their sex lives.

(FYI - not all the contents of the box are suitable for viewing at work. Some are adult products. Just a heads up!)

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The info card this month talks about the summer winding down and getting back to the grind.

The flip side has a list of each item with some tips from the WIYB team.

I like Christine's positivity!

20some.com Sticker

20something is a website for millennial women that offers content on sex, dating, wellness, career goals, and more. This lil sticker is trying to get the word out. The site looks pretty cool to me. Wish it existed in the 00's when I was in my 20s!

Blush Novelties G Tease Vibrator - Value $9.14

Let's start this box off with a bang and talk about the toy first. The packaging leaves some to be desired since it came without a box or any sort of instruction booklet, but it's pretty self-explanatory so I'm not missing too much. Once again, my camera couldn't quite capture the bright pink color of this neon, so it's reading like a pale peach instead. For shame!

This little neon pocket pal is simple but effective whether you choose to use it internally or externally. It measures five inches long, and roughly one inch in diameter at its widest point. It has a really soft finish so you won't be afraid to use it in your most sensitive areas.

It has been kept simple with one vibration only. You simply turn it all the way to the left to open it and install the one AA battery it needs to work, or all the way to the right to turn it on. The middle position will keep it off while being stowed away. I have a few battery powered bedside buddies that are simplified like this and they are actually some of my faves. This one, in particular, has a pretty decent rumble even though it's small. I think this is a great starter or addition to anyone's arsenal.

Pipedream Antibacterial Toy Cleaner - Value $4.48

Yes! I've been waiting to see some cleaner in my other adult subscription box, and WIYB delivers in the first month. It's super important to keep your toys clean since they are partying with some of your most delicate spots! You should spray this mild cleanser on any of your devices before and after use to keep everything spic and span.

Sustain Natural Organic Lubricant 3 x .2 fl oz. packets - Value about $2.59 (Buy a 2.5 oz. tube for $12.99)

I'm not familiar with Sustain, but it sounds like a lovely company. I like that this lubricant is 95% organic. Since this is unscented, it's free of fragrance and also free of dyes or anything else that may irritate sensitive areas. It's also water-based, so it's totally fine to use with latex and washes off easily.

WIYB Exclusive Tote by Caroline Ross - Value $5?

This wee tote happens to fit everything from my first WIYB with plenty of room to spare. It measures 11 inches high and about 9.5 inches wide. They partnered with Chicago based artist Caroline Ross to make this especially for the box. The words informed, empowered, and shameless are all really powerful when talking about women's sexual health. I will proudly tote this around to make sure no one thinks I'm bashful about what I like.

Verdict: My first delivery of What's In Your Box? was great! This is a perfect little kit to receive each month and explore your sexuality. This sub is certainly geared towards the millennial crowd which I applaud. I know I wasn't very comfortable with content like that in my late teens and early 20s and even later, so it's nice that times are changing and subscription boxes like this exist. It's time to stop slut-shaming and being embarrassed about sexual health. As far as value, the retail costs landed almost exactly on the cost of the box, so I'm going to call it even.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? I don't think so. It looks like if you order now, you will receive the October box.

Coupon – No coupon available at this time.

Value Breakdown: At $21 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  • Vibrator: $9.14
  • Cleaner: $4.48
  • Lubricant: $2.59
  • Tote: $5

I love these sex positive boxes! This ones not bad for $21 but Heart & Honey is my favorite. But you get what you pay for with both boxes and that’s great. Thanks for the review. This would be fun to gift too. I have a few bachelorette parties coming up and this would make a fun gift!

Well I guess I can’t click on unfamiliar boxes with my kids around anymore. -_-
Maybe a warning or something?

I’m not sure what ages your kids are, but if they are old enough to know what these items are, you shouldn’t be embarrassed. If they are little, they have no idea what these things are.

Did you not read the title or the description? Adult boxes have been reviewed on here before. We get plenty of warning.

NSFW stands for “not safe for work” and is Universal Internet shorthand for “adult content.” That (and the bold lettering at the top of the review signaling that this is an adult box with adult contents) are your warnings. Hope that’s helpful info so that next time, you’ll know what to look for if you want to avoid these kinds of reviews.

It said (NSFW) in the subject line. that should have tipped you off.

I had no idea adult sub boxes existed…what planet have I been living on?!

Oh no, Bethany! Must be a bummer of a planet! This is only the second of many different boxes that exist that I’ve reviewed thus far (Check out my Heart + Honey reviews as well) but you can check out a full list in our directory here: https://boxes.mysubscriptionaddiction.com/subscription_boxes_for/adult

I think this box is a really great deal cause your not gonna get that vibrator anywhere else for under 9$!

nana

Huh? It’s $9 on Amazon with free shipping.

Personally, I think this box needs something else to make it worth it. Totes don’t do it for me.
