Bobo's Bites Coconut, 1.3 oz. - Value $1.10 (buy 5, 1.3 oz. bites for $5.49)
Even though I am not the biggest coconut fan, I really enjoyed this little bite! Each bite was filled with sweet oats that made this fluffy like a muffin. The chunks of coconut tasted very fresh and gave this a tiny crunch to it. A yummy snack to take with you on the go for a quick fill-me-up!
Clif Whey Protein Bar: Coconut Almond Chocolate, 1.98 oz. - Value $1.56 (buy a 5 pack for $7.82)
Clif bars are my favorite! I have never tried this flavor, and once I got passed the coconut texture, I was really able to enjoy this bar! The whey protein and general size of Clif bars make this the perfect afternoon snack, or I will even eat these for breakfast if I am running late. The chocolate bottom mixed with the almond flavor to the oats make this snack more like a delicious candy bar that is healthy, bonus!
Torie & Howard Chewie Fruities, 1.27 oz. - Value $1.15 (buy a 4 oz. pack for $3.62)
These can't be healthy if they are then I am in love! They taste exactly like a tropical fruit Starburst! Each chewie fruity delivers 100% of the daily value of vitamin C and contain zero artificial dyes or GMOs. A vitamin and a candy? I am sold!
Our Little Rebellion PopCorners White Cheddar, 1 oz. - Value $2.92 (Buy a 12 pack of 7 oz. bags for $35.00)
White cheddar popcorn is my guilty pleasure, and boy these little crisps did not disappoint! Each crisp was light and airy like popcorn with a ton of crunch like a chip. They were extra cheesy in a good way! The best part is that these are made with canola oil and very little salt so you can eat this guilt-free!
Lawless Jerky BBQ Spare Rib, 2 oz. - Value $5.99
I haven't had beef jerky in years so I wasn't too excited when I saw this bag. OMG, I could not put this down! Each little bite is made with USA raised pork and handcrafted with traditional techniques. Each piece packs a little sweet and a little spice, mainly from the spices and cinnamon. I loved this jerky so much that I already bought another bag for my Dad, a jerky fanatic!
McClure's Potato Chips: Garlic Dill Pickle, 1.5 oz. - Value $1.29 (Buy a 24 pack of 1.5 oz bags for $31)
The perfect kettle chip in my opinion! These chips packed a strong dill flavor, so if you don't like dill these probably aren't for you, and the garlic provided a little tang. Eating these chips was like enjoying a crunchy sweet pickle. I need these in a larger size bag!
RBar Lemon Poppyseed, 1.6 oz. - Value $1.49 (Buy a 10-pack for $14.90)
This little bar is packed full of flavor and energy! I enjoyed this as an early morning snack and it really gave me that full feeling to get my day started. There was nothing artificial about this snack, it was just like eating a fresh lemon poppyseed muffin. So much flavor!
Caveman Dark Chocolate Cashew Almond Bar, 1.4 oz. - Value $1.53 (buy a 15-pack for $22.99)
Nuts, sea salt, almonds, cashews, and chocolate - enough said! I crave sweets throughout the day so I am always looking for a healthier way for that afternoon chocolate fix. This bar did just that! I was able to satisfy my chocolate craving with this amazing dark chocolate while getting the energy to finish the rest of my day from the cashews and almonds. This might be one of new favorite bars, good thing I got that Caveman coupon code in this month's box!
You Love Fruit Leather - Mango Coconut, 1 oz. - Value $1.42 (buy a 12-pack for $17.01)
These little snacks are considered a dry fruit 'leather'. They had a fruit roll-up texture to them, but obviously much more natural and not as sweet. I love mango, but the coconut flavor to these was extremely over powering. As you saw from previous snacks, I am not the biggest coconut fan, and this snack had way too much fresh coconut on it for me to enjoy. Luckily my Mom is a big fan of coconut and she loved this fresh fruit snack!
Byrd's Key Lime Cookies, 1 oz. - Value $1.31 (buy an 16 oz package for $20.99)
This was another snack where I thought, "How are these healthy?!" Each cooler had a subtle lime flavor and the powder created a cooling feeling to your palette, reminiscent of key lime pie. The cookies themselves are crunchy yet melt in your mouth. I can't say enough good things about these healthy cookies!
Dang Sticky Rice Chips, 0.7 oz. - Value $0.99
These sticky rice chips will really surprise you! Each kernel is made with whole rice kernels and sesame, they are then soaked in watermelon juice, and then crisped with a light seasoning. At first, I didn't get much flavor, but as you continue eating you won't be able to stop! Each chip has a sweet, almost creamy flavor that tastes like you are eating a sweet bowl of rice krispies. I need more of these!
Wonderful Pistachios, 1 oz. - Value $0.43 (buy 24 oz. bag for $10.42)
What is there not to love about pistachios? I love the Wonderful brand because of the quality and in how they prepare their products. Each pistachio is roasted and lightly salted. I am constantly on the go so I will usually buy a bag of these to have on hand when I need a bit of energy. I was very excited to receive these since I already eat Wonderful Pistachios so often!
Pirimizie Gouda & Garlic Crispbreads, 1.5 oz. - Value $0.91 (buy a 12 pack of 6.5 oz. bags for 47.40)
These crisps were SO gouda! Each bread packed so much crunch and had a light powder on it that was full of the smoked gouda flavor that I adore! Can you tell I love cheese?! The garlic provided a light tang that broke through the extra cheese flavors in each bite. These would be amazing with a plain hummus for an afternoon snack or lunch side dish!
Good Health Sweet Potato Chips, 1 oz. - Value $2.58 (buy a 12 pack for $30.99)
I was not a fan of these chips, but I am wondering if maybe something was wrong with the bag I received because they tasted a bit like plastic. I love everything sweet potato flavored so I was really surprised that I didn't love these, but they had a strange aftertaste that wasn't similar to sweet potato. Overall, the chips provided a great crunch, but they were just not my favorite.
Verdict: This was my first time receiving a Snack Nation box, and overall I was really happy with everything that I received! The box itself was packaged really well in a way that would allow you to transport the box if you wanted to share with friends. I did notice that I was supposed to receive 15 snacks in the Best in Class box, but it looks as though I only received 14. There were a few too many coconut flavored items for my liking, but that is really just a personal preference since I don't like coconut. Even the items with those flavors were still delicious! I was really surprised that each of the items were still good for me after looking through the ingredients since they were all so delicious. The Lawless Jerky was hands down my favorite snack from the month though!
I estimated the overall value to be around $24.67, which is above of the $19.99 monthly cost of this box. (Even better with the 50% off offer.) As I mentioned earlier, I didn't receive 15 total items, so the value would be even a little higher with one extra snack. I would like to see maybe one more bigger item like the jerky next month plus the total 15 snacks for the Best in Class box. Overall, I was really happy with my first experience from Snack Nation and received a lot of yummy snacks that my husband and I were able to enjoy. I am excited to see what Snack Nation has in store next month!
